I can't believe they are so much afraid of such experiments since T4. Stages offers a limitless potential to make game more interesting, especially in 3d fighting game. You can add so much variety to the legacy gameplay, add some cool small stage gimmicks here and there, make them feel more alive. And t4 did exactly that. Idk why they think the stage design is the reason behind the low sales. I bet it was the actual selling feature.

Props to Bamco. T4 Lee is one of my favourite glow ups in the FGs history. Never thought that f*ckboy, loser, bootleg Kazuya with Law's moveset can be so elegant and swag when I just press random buttons and extra stylish even when you min maxing him(unlike Kazumi vs Geese stroke fest on the grand finals)

And an often forgotten reminder about how strong Violet (Lee) was in this game; the SS+2 pressure used to annoy almost everyone in the arcade :) (though he was just overshadowed by stronger characters) One comment: Acid Rain IS actually a natural combo if you don't do the jab at the start (i.e. f+3:3:3), so it's a pretty fast natural combo into a crumple stun! But still very hard due to multiple just frames.
@@dingleitches on the first two games yes. I think Lee had a few more kick moves but even the ultimate attack before the tornado kick was just like laws. He's become way more fleshed out over time
Also had jf 1,2,4:4 for extra damage, 4,4,4 was one of the few actual wall combos in this game, HMS 1... comboed on a BT wall splat for infinite damage. T4 Violet was a little silly, probably 2nd or 3rd in this game

I was around for this,these agent things people discovered LATER! This was KNOWN at the time,everybody knew about the Iron arena infinite but it got worse after it came out on ps2.
Would he be broken as a first day DLC character launch when those frame stats you mentioned at most of Lee's moves (besides the buggy and "infinite combo" moves) got imported to Tekken 7/8?
