I've never been a fan of motorized faders. I've always loved how I can just flick the faders around on my Chamsys. But then I saw the functionality you guys put on and oh my god I want one of these. The amount of time I could save programming with the new fader options is insane. Great work.
So much want...Seems to be a fair substitute for the MA2 Light/Full...If you are familiar with MagicQ and are ready to adapt a little bit. Love the independent paging for encoder/fader playbacks!
I am actually interested in what hardware is running the embedded computer in this beast...to reliably control 256 universes of parameters. Is there any need for distributed network control?
No need for distributed network control. Although if using more than 32 universes we'd recomend using Artnet4 / Unicasting to nodes to reduce network traffic.
Hello. On MQ500M when I press back key while running cue stack the crossfader immediately goes down and afterwards it goes up in fade time. How can I stop crossfader from moving when I press back key?
Also love the upgrade path for early MQ500 adopters! This is the kind of gesture that engenders good faith with your customers!

Thanks for comment! Hopefully we can get one in front of you soon. Catch up soon - James
This is gonna be a lighting game change for programming and running shows. Well done Chamsys.

Drinking game... Everytime they mention 256 universes. Take a shot.
Is there a keyboard for typing labels etc? Can you put a wireless keyboard in the drawer? Thanks
You can use any USB keyboard with the console (wired or wireless). The pockets on the front of the console are more around phone size.

the one person who disliked this was MA
Yeah cause it looks a lot like they tried their best to copy the MA3
@@xXStandluxXxthat's completely nonsense. MagicQ and MA3 do work completely different within.

If you set the Crossfader master function to none under Setup > View Settings > Playback will turn this off.
