Thanks for this update. I've had my '24 XLT hybrid for about 2 months and I love it. Good to know the hard plastics wear well over so many miles. I don't have the lux package, so I'm not worried about the steering wheel. But I think I might look into a console arm rest cover to help the original one last longer. You've got my sub, keep up the good work. 😎👍
So you use the same model I do. Buy it new and put 80K on it and then replace it with new. I usually only put one set of tires on it because I replace the stock tires at 30K with Michelin Defenders (80K) tire and they still have plenty of tread at trade in. It will be cool if you kept track of all your maintenace cost and do 1 last spread sheet of what you paid, what you sold it for and how much it cost you per mile. If you can put the correct title on that video it will be your most watched ever. The reason I flip at 80K is there is some expensive maintenace coming up at a 100K plus value diminishes and major things start breaking. Cya and hope your next buy is something cool.
Sorry new to your channel, did u have one covering the hybrid battery? I heard you say that it was covered but wondering what that cost would have been out of warranty .
I just passed 2 years on my '22. Only 4000 miles. Really. My only issues have been lots of recalls, some they don't have solutions too (not good), and poor service. Dealerships do not give a rats butt. Oil change #1, did not reset oil life (first dealer); oil change #3 (different dealer) again noted they reset oil life, nope! On the airbag recall same dealer as the oil change #3, left panels not connected, stuffing coming out of the headliner, general poor fininshing touches and a 9/16" nut that probably belongs inside a door somewhere. On the good side: I like the mpg and the fact that I willingly bought a cheap vehicle, so my expectations match the poor build, the poor entertainment system, and the fact that I will be able to unload it with very few miles on it.
No! No more Maverick updates? With only 6,000 miles on my 2022 Maverick Lariat here in sunny SoCal... I'm expecting no motor or transmission replacement needed before the warranty runs out. Hope your next car is a C8 Corvette like mine. Oh wait. You have too many months of winter. Can't wait to see what your next car is going to be.
Holy cow, that's an absolutely horrible repair list. Hopefully just very first gen issues. If not.................. that doesn't bode well for the Maverick.

I will try to put that video together right before I get rid of this rig.

@@thejmcGarage When did it fail? and also did they give a reason why it failed?
@mrboxheadd748 failed at 60k and one of the cells short circuited causing a voltage spike in the system
