We should not blame the engineers because no one listens to the engineers. I have some experience in the construction industry and I keep hearing how the construction companies only use engineers as a rubber stamp. It is common in foundations and concrete structures that after getting approval from a qualified engineer, either the design is changed or rebars are pulled out or some other unapproved changes are made to increase profits. Those engineers who do find out and complain are replaced with engineers who are "cooperative".

Raza Bhai you just rocked it. PEC just manage admissions of University and intake in industry. There are 370+ Engineering Programs in the country which are affiliated by PEC. And only 171 out of these are affiliated by Washington Accords.
So, PEC must have some standards to give the their affiliation to any Institute.
Pec is just pathetic....pec and it’s sister organizations are just baba type imperialist structure to stop masses from innovation in science and tech...with the advent of internet in 90s and then the unstoppable emerging of ai and ml has kicked these engineering standard organization into oblivion....research and innovation should be widespread and never be limited to very few, coz this shapes the bureaucratic structure which hinders progress...the greatest researcher in ml and ai are philosophy and journalism majors with very strong high school stem base...the helm of affairs at pec is managed by duffer so called experienced engineers who were only good at money minting from contracts during their tenure in oil and gas at middle eat and refineries of Pakistan....these baba numa babus will further put Pakistan into non existence if this pec type organization keep on running in this already dilapidated country

@@khurshidalam7127 it is just an accord to align Pakistan’s engineering universities standard with the international one...but nothing has been achieved ever even after implementing this Washington accord in 2018, case in point are foreign engineering scholarships which are mostly given to females irrespective of the quality of institution they come from...so this Washington accord is just duping talented Pakistani students to the fullest especially if you are male and belong to top engineering university with a lot of competition, you are most likely to loose any foreign scholorship to a female from a second rate or third rate institute on basis of your sexual genitals coz these cuckold gora want to maintain the 50 percent quota minimum...so washington accord doesn’t matter, it’s just a scam

Yahe wala scene samo Bhai software engineers aur CS Students ka bhe hae. Koi software house AP ko rakhta he nahe until and unless AP kae pass experience na ho. They just don't want to put in any effort to give you an experience about the industry. I have been applying to different software houses since I have completed my 5th semester and not a single company has contacted me where I have applied. This is the harsh reality samo Bhai
