How do I solve 2-4+2
Left to right. 2-4 = -2. -2+2=0 Another way to think of it is that -4 is the same as plus negative 4. So 2-4+2 is the same as 2+2-4

Its -2 because +-= - so 5-7=-2 because we put the sign of bigger digit that is minus 7
You can also think of it as adding negative 7 (moving down the scale by 7) to an original value of 5. You end up at negative 2.
