Eerie EF-2 Tornado Strikes at Night - March 13, 2024

We watched a supercell thunderstorm develop in northern Kansas and drop a significant tornado near Alta Vista Kansas. The tornado was on the ground for over 20 minutes but thankfully remained over the open country of the Flint Hills.

I was hell bent on the target near Topeka for over 24 hours, but for whatever reason, my team just did not want to commit west. We ended up getting stuck on the storms east of Lawrence 😂😭
