That ride in "Phelan-speak" looks..amazing! Thanks Julie, a lovely little post; that was so enjoyable, it seemed to be over in a heartbeat. Your genuinely good natured, and warm enthusiasm; really adds to your posts. There was definitely some beautiful scenery, and your positive rhetoric, couldn't make for a better advertisement for this adventure. Well done Julie, look forward to your next post! Especially looking forward to your upcoming post on bike computers. Take care Julie 😊🦅(not quite a red kite..haha)
Lol! 'Phelan- speak' - an eclectic mix of Essex, Wiltshire and Stokie thrown in for good measure lol ! I did get rather excitable but that's cuz its stunning. Over the years I have explored a fair bit of North Wales but I realised I know nothing. Sometimes you've just gotta step out into the unknown. It has been a bit weird not competing as I have done in the past but doing rides like this makes me realise this experience is so fulfilling- being at one with the natural environment . Anyway stick it on your list. Great to talk to you.
Chuffed to see you go up route 82 Julie, coming down it is over to quickly and you cant enjoy the view of bird rock speeding down. Has to be one of the best short loops in the country, love it.
Lol! I carry a lot of additional stuff because of filming. Also I wasn't sure if I was going to get wet so I had a few extras . Happy Trails to you too. Thanks for contributing.
I have one in North Wales Julie, it's called the Tour Of Snowdon, you can split it into 2 days or one big route, I've planned it so you can start in Chapel Curing, or do a figure of 8 and start in Llanberis given you the option to do separate routes each day, and camp at Nant Peris making a weekend out of it ... 😁😎🚴👍
@@JuliePhelanExplore check on my Komoot on planned rides I've done 2 both start at llanberis Tour of Snowdon part 1 and 2 ... There's a bit of road which is unavoidable but still a good route for both mountain bikes and gravel bikes 👍
Yep its my 'do what ever you like' bike lol ! I am using 40mm tyres with quite a small tread pattern which roll well on tarmac but are fairly grippy unless its very slippery .
This looks awesome. We shall definetly do this ride the next time we are in this area. Thanks for sharing Julie
