Was at their booth at blade show….some really really amazing pieces and, in most cases, almost custom level action. The Rike booth was a trip, some really over the top pieces.
One of the nicest looking Reate-branded knives I've seen in a long time. Love that they went with the hollow grind. Wish they'd gone with thinner blade stock.
I got this one in Brown Micarta / Ti because of the Knifejoy+ members price which is $80 less than the other colors. Freaking slick controls and extremely slicy! After buying a rack of Spyderco, Benchmade and CRKs, this is a refreshing knife that holds its own.
THANKS M.C‼️‼️ Love the mini Crossroads and had planned on trying to get one ever since the last time you showed it. Just spent a chunk of my monthly knife 💸💰 on PM2 exclusive. Damn, damn, damn, happens every time.🤣😜😫 I WILL get one eventually. Thanks for what ya do for our community. Stay safe, stay sharp 👍🇺🇸👍🔪
I grabbed one as soon as they came out and it's a nice one... and it definitely breaks in. If I have any complaint, and it's very minor, is it's quite a bit chunkier than I like to carry however that makes it feel good in my hand. I'd love one of the Crane's exclusives but they're just a bit too pricey for me. Dude, it's just a swedged clip point.
I do believe that Reate has some of the very best in quality production knives your hard earned cash money could ever purchase!...And they are an OEM for many different brands in all shapes and sizes and are all done to high quality standards 👍!...Hats off to Reate keep up the Awesome works of 🎨 art!!!
And I will say I own many Benchmade and Spyderco kives and love them all. Yet I do believe that Reate has both of them beat in there quality of production knives!...Some of there production knives are of the same type of quality you would get from a custom knife maker!...
Really like the looks and ergos on this . I need to pay closer attention to cranes cutlery. I always forget then you show something and I. Like dam . Are you going to want to check out the new 3v ti variant of the ad 20.5?
i aint on the reate hype train yet. Ive had way more fit and finish issues with reates than WE. ill admit when Reate nails it its better than WE for sure. But ive had several Reates with gritty action, off-centered blades, and poor inlay work and never had that from WE.
The worst WE qc I've ever seen was on my Drop/Bull Miura, but it just needs me to reseat and maybe threadlock the handle fasteners. Otherwise it's perfect
@Forrest Farris Good question, but yes, sure. However there are laws (no switchblade, gravity or balisong knives) and rules the police will follow (max 3 inch and non-locking) and also context (don’t take any knife to a football (aka soccer!) game, nightclub or other large indoor venue, don’t carry a knife if you are young, have a record, have no reason). Some of it feels silly: I reckon balis are illegal because they look cool if you can flip them well. Locking mainly protects the user’s fingers, as we all know it is safer to use a knife that is big enough for the job, too. And most knife crime is with old kitchen or garden knives, or cheap/fantasy type knives or sharpened screwdrivers. Ah, it’s a pain but for the most part most of us just use a small knife for minor EDC tasks like opening an envelope 🤣🤣
@@cityhick1987 You can use bigger knives at work - as big as the job needs - but you would need to be careful transporting. For example if you were a chef taking your own knives to work on public transport, you be expected to have them safely in a case, rather than juggling with them on the train 🤣. Generally, police would need to justify searching you so if you were minding your own business, with no knives on display, you’d be fine.
I love how shocked people get when they realize I regularly use my Shiro Neon Zero lefty...That I had Knife Modders do a ton of work to...or my modded XM-18 that every part has had work done to it or been replaced.

I draw the line at 400 for a carry. Only because I don't own something more expensive 😂. Don't buy what you won't carry IMO.
The full wood grain micarta is so very beautiful!
Had to get one after seeing this, that counter sunk lock sold me on it. Absolutely perfect flipper, thanks for introducing me to this beauty :)
Picked up the wood/white micarta version and it has broken in amazing!

Some pretty cool little details on this one for sure. Looks nice to me. Thanks MC!
Great job. Reate is doing great!! I have a K4 that's amazing!
Just like the SBD "Mini" Tempest.
It's a perfect size.
Gaintmouse just announced at Blade Show a 2 inch n690 blade with aluminum scales and a liner lock that's built by Reate for around $100 dollars

That one is clearly a modified reverse tanto dropping clip point.
Yup… modified reversed drop Tanto Bowie spearpoint with a reversed recurve clip sheep’s foot.
THANKS M.C‼️‼️

I love mine in zebra CF & hand rubbed stain blade !!!
Reate Makes the best knives in the world.

Yep, and if you want to add descriptors it's got a short, flat clip

That is one nice looking knife!
I just ordered one. My credit card & I had a good cry.

We hate it too!
J/K love your videos!

Does anyone know where the best place is to buy custom titanium scales? There aren't any companies that make them for the knives i have
Really depends on the knife.
Thanks - still too big for UK carry!

@Forrest Farris Oh, there are plenty of things here worth staying for 😊. It’s annoying but it isn’t the biggest deal. 👍
Are those street clothes carry laws, or do those carry laws apply to on the job knives too?

That is a full-size EDC
That’s a sweet knife even with the girth. Is that a girthy knife in your pocket or are you excited to see me?!? 🤣
Sweet 👌🏻

True collectors are an exception, but why own it if you won't carry it, right?

LOL...Modified spey.
I'm just here to drop the "that's what she said" comment

I have $150 knives I don’t use… just because I like them so much and don’t want to wreck them.
