  • This has been a massive month for Webflow, and everyone who is building their business around creating brilliant responsive websites with Webflow.
The Webflow Conf 2023 in San Francisco brought an avalanche of new announcements, and we're here to help make sense of what this news means to your web design journey and business.
    In this video:
    - Why did Webflow change its logo in 2023?
    - Webflow UI updates with dark mode
    - Do professional web designers use Webflow?
    - Localization: create natively multi-lingual websites in Webflow (soon)
    - 3D elements and native interactions natively within your websites
    - Use variables to change the look of your websites in just a few clicks, reference them with custom code, and manage your sites in less time.
    - Take control of CSS properties that Webflow hasn't included in the native UI without custom code

I think the rebrand was necessary due to a market repositioning. Before they were a tool for designers that don't necessarily know how to code, but after Framer and the rest of the newest tools, it became a professional tool for developers as well as designers. Archicad did something similar, I believe.

your starting analysis about the brand change shows you arent just another random tech hype youtuber, actually understanding this as a company full of people who can have faults rather than a magical entity that just evolves in a digital vacuum

As someone using the CMS tier, U definitely like the new features (variables ftw) and code optimizations they’ve made (css variables now show up in the root element as -vars).

  • @aleexious4670

I'm really excited to try the new features :)

  • @carlosh1943

  • @Jordan-dr9hq

    Spline, bro. Spline

  • @dukeselwood

Just so you know, it's "Spline" not S.P. Line"

  • @dsurajev

    Es-pee-line? Spline? Great vid overall!

  • @Ryan-kr4bq

Ran, the rebrand is 100% because of FRAMER, as with the variables… it’s all because of FRAMER. People got to know man. 😄 Just say it bud. 😆

  • @okishan

I always thought it was spline :P

  • @darkopsgaming4342
