Some of those BA A320's are getting up there (1996-00 range). They got their first in '87. Anyway, kudos to the passengers. Overall I think the Brits handle these situations better than those of us across the pond.

It’s unavoidable sometimes. If you’re on a jetty attached to a terminal into which you can’t go (eg international flight won’t a domestic stand or vice versa) it’s the only way.

It was only after landing they saw it was a hydraulic leak. That sounds like something tiny but can have some major consequenses for the flight. Superb handling by this flight crew.
