Part 1 of the video for the XDM1041 multimeter gives details about the features of the Owon multimeter. I have also compared various measurements done with XDM1041 Multimeter side by side with Fluke 287 True RMS Digital Multimeter. (DC Voltage, AC Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, etc.)

Nice review. I was surprised to see that your meter worked nicely with DMMEasyControl. because mine doesn't ever since I upgraded the firmware in the XDM1041. Then again even before I found the DMMEasyControl (rev 1.4.4) wasn't the most stable program anyway... What version are you using and what version is your firmware?

Thank you, I saw your video, that is also very good. My meter has firmware version 1.0.0 and DMM Easy version I used is V1.4.4. Did you try talking to Owon support?
@@PallavAggarwal I raised the issue with them but not received a response so far. For me it is not too urgent because I write my own (Linux) software and do not use DMMEasyControl, but since I am going to show that PC software in my next video and its no longer working properly with my XDM1041, I'll include a link (card) to your video so folks can see how it should work...
Actually I just noticed something. I think the problem is possibly the DMMEasyControl program after all. Can you do me a favour and run your XDM1041 with the DMMEasyControl. Then, once connected, turn on STATISTICS. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off. But I found that just turning it on is already messing up my XDM1041. The DMMEasyControl is no longer able to change between (most) functions. Now exit DMMEasyControl and turn statistics (=Math) off locally on the XDM1041 if it is still on. Then reconnect DMMEasyControl and try switching between DC volts and AC volts or Current. Does that work? In my XDM1041 I have to actually power it off and on to get it back working. If iyou manage to replicate the problem (no longer responding to changes from the DMMEasyControl), can you connect the XDM1041 to your terminal program and type some nonsense SCPI command like "hello". I would be interested it responds with "OK OK OK"

hola amigo, a mi no me deja abrir el software, si lo instala bien creo, pero al abrir el software, me sale error que le falta el visa32.dll, luego el nisva32 o algo asi, busco esos archivos y luego me sale otro error pero no termino de abrir el software.
sabes que me puede faltar por instalar previamente?, tu que windows 10 tienes 64 o 32 bits? me podrias ayudar como solucionar mi problema por favor
