That next month I packed my stuff and moved across the United States. That same morning, news hit my ear that she was killed in a car accident that morning I left. The intro of this song was playing when I got finished reading the news article about what happened...Fast forward to today (2 months later), I wish I asked her to get together when she called...I’m sorry Jamie P. RIP. I will keep you close in memory.

I'm trying my hardest to hold back my tears as I listen to this masterpiece of a loop. I was listening to this song to cope when I lost my maternal grandmother nearly two months ago, due to an unexpected heart attack. It hurts so much to have said goodbye to her. Especially because I hadn't spoken to her properly in years, and she was only 61 years old when she died. My mother's side of the family was a dangerous place to be in when I was young, but that didn't stop her from showing so much love and care to me and all her other grandchildren as we grew. I was moved to live somewhere safer when I was 11, and I tried to reach out to her again through my teenage years, so that I could help her and make things right with the family. I'm 16 now, and I hadn't seen her in years. I only recently started to talk to her through messages again, but nothing can be done now that she's gone. I fear that the family might be forever broken now that she's not there to be the strong and brave woman that she once was for all of us.
