Hey, this is Ajay. Totally resonate with the voice changes--I'm at 10 months on T and my voice has dropped alot. BUT, it seems like the in between range does't exist and therefore singing is quite hilarious.
Your struggles with name changes and top surgery--so with you on that. I'm trying to get my name changed and gender makers too...and the process seems so daunting I don't know where to start. And I'm trying to get my top surgery setup for January and THAT's a crazy whirlwind too.
I'm not on social media very often, but I'm glad you post your videos because I resonate alot with your content. Stay awesome and I look forward to watching month 8!

Hey Ajay! Thanks for reaching out and commenting. I feel that the first few months of being on testosterone, I was so focused on the changes that I wanted to see. Now that I'm a little further along, things are getting more real and the not so fun stuff has become priority (like name change, gender marker, id changes, etc). All of these require finances, time, and details. It's all important but can be overwhelming. To de-stress, I decided that there isn't some specific timeline that I need to stick to. One thing at a time from now on for me, otherwise my brain gets overburdened. Top surgery is the next big thing, then I'll tackle something else. I'll be back for month 8! Thanks again :)

Great video. Congratulations on the 7 month mark. Yes, sometimes, it feels a bit relentless in terms of things to take care of/face-- sometimes you just want to coast a little. I totally hear you on the clothes thing -- it's like I need new stuff, but i don't want to actually invest in anything too nice, because, well, who knows?
    Take care.

you look good, man! Glad you feel better now that you're on the "other side" of the 1/2 way towards a year. Facial hair is so weird, right? Thanks for sharing your updates.

Hey River! Love your videos. I know this is old and probably an uncomfortable question (sorry in advance)-I was wondering when did your cycle stop?

I don't think they'd take trans people off of testosterone due to blood clots because they'd just give the person meds that help reduce the risk of future blood clots...meds that keep the arteries more clear. Cis men still have testosterone in their systems even if they've had blood clots so it wouldn't be fair to remove a trans guy from his right to have testosterone. I would totally find another doctor if my current doctor tried to take my testosterone from me.

Thanks for commenting. I thought it was a little drastic too. I think he just tends to be very cautious, so I appreciate the warning. I agree with you though, I think there would be a way around it and worth seeking a second opinion.
