Keep scouting that catcher that’s ranked #1! Usually, when a position players vision is 5 higher than his discipline, he is generational! The game wants you to think these players are not, but you will find out. Get him to 100, and then you have to scout one more week for some reason.

Yes for one more week. I don’t really get it, but for some reason, it won’t show their generational even at 100%. If you scout one more week past that, it will show the 84-99 potential, making the player generational.
Davila will 100% be a generational talent. There is a trick to know for sure, but he definitely will be.
I would move Bruce Edwards to Left Field! He has too poor of an arm for Right Field, but is a great fielder (72 fielding) already with a good bat, this is the prototype for a good left fielder like a Christian Yelich type!
Agree, not sure he will ever get to Yelich heights, but I agree. I think Yelich has a better arm than given credit, but I like where you are going with that
Scout Swanson, Davila, and Copen. Pitcher might go at one, so I think Swanson or Davila will be there at 3. Copen might be there in the second, but get yourself a couple of backups just in case.

Huge draft coming up, we need to make sure we scout the players we are thinking of taking to *100%* we can’t mess around here. The good thing is Norris looks surefire guaranteed B+/A. The first kid could actually be generational after the first week the game always makes them drop in draft stock, but keep scouting him and he will go back up! I don’t like Swanson he’s a contact killer but his fielding is beyond awful I think he’s a red herring. Also idk if we are but we gotta use one scout to just discover positions almost the full 14 weeks, you almost always find top 15 gems and it’s the best way by far to draft high level prospects deep into the draft!
You need to do more discoveries in your drafts. This will allow you to find high potential guys that you can pick up in rounds 3-5.
Thanks for the tip! I probably do, I did one and it resulted in 2 prospects who i didnt like. So maybe i need to keep trying?
I have horrible luck with discovery. I rarely ever find anyone I’d even consider drafting.
@@ogreman2229 maybe you just don’t use the right scouts? If you have a 90 discovery scout you will always find at least one gem pitcher.
@@TnJonRUclips yes, I would say have at least one scout with high discovery every week. Even if they are rated 100 after discovery, if you continue to do it they can rocket up the draft board… usually I shoot to have 2-3 guys that went from NR to top 30 on my scouts board.
Of course every draft is difference but very attainable to get 60 overall 80-95 overall prospects doing this

Whenever a draft prospect has a higher overall than their potential they're usually a bad player. They come out with High C or Low B Overalls and then have C and D potential and regress quickly. Not worth scouting but could be a late round selection if you want someone who can play right out of the draft.
Also, 18 or 19 year old hitters near the top of the draft board with exactly 5 better Vision than Discipline are Generational players.
I might have to put that generational theory to the test, but it also feels like cheating tbh

@@lilai2.036 well basically you know based on that, if a player will be generational. I get your point tho. I’m guessing you have to scout them to a certain percentage to know. I just wonder if knowing that fact, you could draft a guy the cpu passes on. Seems like you are taking advantage of the logic idk

I personally think you use the term generational too strictly. To me, you're generational if your potential is 95+.
The sort of community accepted definition is 70+ ovr and exactly 99 potential
