So awesome to see great RUclipsrs checking out the Adirondacks! I moved to Colorado a couple months ago from the Glens Falls area. One thing they haven't figured out out here is the ice cream. Stewart's alone tops anything in Denver! Just visited home a couple weeks ago and found a day to get over to Killington. What a blast that place is!

Thank you Phil for doing a vid in Northern N.Y.! I'd highly recommend checking out Mount Pisgah in Saranac Lake when you come up through again. Additionally there are a lot of public multi-use trails in the Northern Franklin County area that can get pretty gnarly and technical. Hidden gems for shure!
Such a cool bike park. Just like doing a normal trail ride but get to ride a cable car back to the top! I love Haileys commentary to herself while she’s riding too. So awesome! Love that you guys ride together. Couple goals right there 😊 hoping my wife will be able to come riding more often, once our kids are a bit older!

Phil, you missed out by not hitting up the trails on the parking lot side of the road at the Hardy Road trail system. Ante Up and All In are gnarly climbs up, but a blast to come down! Awesome to see upstate NY getting some love. Keep up the awesome work!
It's a great place any time of year. Skiing, hiking, rock/ice climbing, anything you want. Hard to believe it is in the same country, much less state, as NYC.
That's the problem with new york state - if it isn't the state fair, the city, or skiing, they do very little to promote it. But it's starting to turn around. And thanks Phil for sharing/promoting.
Makes me happy to see you showcasing theses trails some of the first trails I rode so thank you. Phil there are some very nice trails here in central Vermont that could really use someone just to show that there there and your definitely the man for the job so if you could jump in the car and half an hr from Burlington south on rt. 7 hit up mooselamoo rec. area and silver lake you would be doing a great thing for us.
As a truck driver, I have always wondered if the Adirondack State Park had any MTB parks or good riding trails. I just came through there yesterday on my way to Montreal and will pass back through tomorrow going right past the Lake Placid exit. That was a good video Phil! Thx for that info!!

I really wish NY would open up more of the Wilderness areas to bikes so you could explore even more. My family has a Cabin in Newcomb NY and love the mountains up there

There is so much untapped revenue from the MTB community. The ADK bends over backwards for the ski business, snowmobiling, yet the 3 seasons that MTBers look for trails, for parks….there could be more. We have to ADK and all the possibilities. We are in competition for the adventure minded. The west seems to be more open to the business.
I've only just come across this channel and am just getting into mountain biking here in Australia I went and bought a Norco Shore 2 for $400 bucks the other day and it's an absolute beast! Seeing this video with Hayley in it was awesome she seems like a sweetheart love the channel and definetley subscribed!
Lake Placid and some areas of the Catskills aside, upstate New York has perfect terrain for awesome mountain bike trails, but we are lagging behind our New England brothers as far as trail access and development goes. It's good to see progress is being made!
I live so close to the 'dacks One of Most beautiful scenery ever. Go to lake placid and hike some of the high peaks!!! Wilmington has a bike park as well
New York has all you need!!! We live in the capital region and we own property in the ADK. I’ve been an upstate New Yorker most of my life and don’t care to live anywhere else. The ADK has so much to offer. Nice to see the tourists discovering our woods, not much smooth , rocks and more rocks!!

If you come back to the city make sure to visit queens and check out Cunningham park. Some really raw and tough trails there with a few steep climbs and tech. There’s also some big dirt jumps and a pump track too

Hey, Phil, I am headed up to Lake Placid tomorrow are the first few trails with all the jumps and drops at Craigs wood or are they at a different trail center? Secondly, the last clip before the bike park where you hit the dragon tail drop that had the ribbon tied up around the drop in, is that zone a secret or is it also at Craigs Woods?
This is the first place I tried mountain biking back in 2000, I made two trips down and spent most of it on foot, but all those gnarly sections through the woods on trails like Empire had me hooked.
Would you have a recommendation for a good all mountain bike that is playful and great for hopping around? I'm having a hard time finding a bike. I'm in ottawa ontario. Looking for 140mm rear and 150 front looking into evil, tough to find here though

I lived in that area for 4 years from 2006-2010. I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could find a good job over there. Last time I went to Whiteface to bike, I was one of just a few riders there. Definitely some challenging lines there. Do they still have the double teeter-tooter in the woods?
I remember when you had the remedy 9 (2016) I’m looking at buying used for a jumpy rider riding tech on and off would you recommend and for around £1100 ?
JameZz_MTB if you want a hardtail the diamondback syncr or the ghost Kato 6 are nice. I have the kato 6 and it’s been an awesome bike even after I’ve taken a few really hard falls including one that broke my wrist and everything on the right side of my handlebars including shifters and brake levers

The first drops are all in Craig Wood. The secret drop is a secret drop in a different location.
