It's amazing how someone as young as you are, know about old historic items. You keep up like this you can become an historian yourself. Best of everything for you and your family.
WOW! Its truly refreshing to see young people intrested in antiques, hes off to a good start, plus he has the support of his family that is just soo cool to me.
I’m impressed with all of your videos! I’m like you with antique glass. I might suggest you go to some of the awesome antique malls. You will learn more about your finds as well! Thank you and your entire family!
I just had a crazy thought...on the Kennedy boxes you found, I wonder if you might be able to get a hold of some of the Kennedy kids or even RFK Jr..and show the lot. I feel like it might be worth a shot as it might be valuable beyond measure to them.
Excellent finds Thomas, Dan, and mom. The picture with the trophy is the Stanley Cup. It's a very famous trophy 🏆. The Indian tapestry is worth between $200,&$400 per piece. Some of the pottery is handmade by either the person that owned the locker, or a family member. The military paperwork you should take to a military museum, as some of it, if not all of it is amazing history. I'm interested in some of the jewelry to purchase from you. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.
Thank you Donna! This unit was an amazing one. still finding stuff I missed even now. I may hold on to the native American jewelry for a while. Seems like silver keeps going up FAST :) You have a great week!
@@tdkcollects I know it's going up, as I purchased alot of jewelry 💍 in silver, as gold also going up almost daily. I have gold, and silver, but silver has really gone up over the last couple of years. I bought a 5 k smokey topaz pendant, and chain, and it cost $295.00 in .925 silver. You need to research all the turquoise jewelry, as it depends on where it was made. I bought some really beautiful pieces from the Indian Reserve that's an hour north of me. If you find a box with Korite then you know that you have found something that's worth alot of money. They mine Amolite, and Canadian Diamonds 🔹. 🙂⚘️.
TDK, if that locker were won by us, it would be sold at an in person auction that understands and promotes the items. The tapestries for instance should be appraised by people with a vast knowledge of American Indian culture. Like I said…I would start researching appraisers and in person auction houses to glean help in understanding these items before listing as usual. Hope that helps more than sounds condescending. Not intended to be the latter. Love you all and the “Sunday Afternoon Entertainment Hour” You bring every week. Keep up the great work on both sides of the camera. You’re learning so much more than you will ever learn at a 9-5.
I appreciate the tips Marty :) not condescending at all I appreciate when people help me. I am fresh to the game and have a lot to learn!! Happy you like the videos!
You’re going to very busy researching a lot of that stuff. For me the best things have got to be the Kennedy boxes of memorabilia, actual history in a box. Well done Thomas and thanks for sharing. Take care and have a great week 😀
copper can be cleaned easily with mayonnaise. just coat the piece wait a couple of hours and wipe clean repeat if necessary. Safe and easy to increase the value.

You really need to add a zero or two extra on some of your "guesstimates"! There's some amazing items in this unit, and whoever owned it knew what they were collecting! Be careful you're not underpricing on some of these items. I mean $100 for a $1000+ antique hookah base is a MASSIVE underestimate!
When I see all these beautiful items I can't help but think about all those storage units that must have been ruined with the hurricane. I do hope you have your electricity back too❤❤
I watch you from across the pond 🇬🇧🇬🇧 and enjoy your content, but please respect the owners personal papers and try to return them to their families. The more experienced pickers are very respectful. Good luck with your journey, enjoy the beautiful things you and your dad will find in future lockers..
Thank you for the support :) we make sure the owners get back their personal belongings. Usually we leave it with the facility but sometimes we have to ship back paperwork and photos
Great video as usual! How do you pack the fragile items for shipping? I have lots of fragile stuff I'd like to sell on EBay but am worried about it getting broken in transit. Thanks!
At 23 minutes, it was a picture of a gentleman with a trophy. The trophy is the Stanley Cup, hockey greatest trophy. And the player in the photo just before that day Wayne Gretzky. One of if not the greatest hockey player in the United States ever
Wayne Gretzky is Canadian. He played his career in Canada with the Edmonton Oilers.. where as the captain he led the oilers to 4 Stanley cups. Canadian national icon. Yer welcome! Eh!
Absolutely amazing unit and adventure. Have you been able to discover any real information on the owner? They must have been some very influential people.
