BCCI officially said abt Rana having a viral, but you simply made a lose comment that itna loyalty to banta hai. This is irresponsible I believe and sparks unnecessary hate and controversy. Also, Rana didn’t even come to lift the trophy which proves it that he wasn’t really well. I am commenting this as someone who appreciates your work but this was very irresponsible.
Sorry if you have taken it as a hate remark. BCCI has a history of dropping players permanently by saying back spasm and niggle. They did this with Shreyas Iyer in England test series and Avesh Khan also once. Even when Ashwin was dropped from ODI they said Ashwin has been rested. It was a light hearted remark, I love Harshit Rana to be very honest. I would have loved it if Surya would have told it in the toss that Harshit missed because of illness, usually captain says that. I know Harshit didn’t travel with the team. Even if Gambhir would have done it purposefully , I won’t find it wrong because he can always say that this pitch was too flat, pacers would have conceded runs so we went with 3 spinners.
