    Ha! I was a student attending at Musicians Institute with him. He was definitely one of the handful of kids that had that "talent." I still remember him playing the Grammys with Kelly Tori or whatever her name was. Good guy. 🤘🏿😈

    Awesome lesson. It's always good to watch the process of great players and see how they approach learning. That "go to sleep" advice is spot on. I play something I'm learning until I start getting aggravated bringing it up to speed, and I stop. It never fails after getting a night's sleep I can pick up the guitar and be closer to where I want to be than I was when I stopped the night before.

    Been really working on my dyad shapes recently and wanted to better understand how to use them musically and rhythmically like mateus. This video was very helpful. enough detail to understand but not bogged down in shapes and description for those who already know! loved it! Great to have some of his motifs in my fingers!

    Great use of actual psychological studies! Immediate pre and post sleep are the best times for efficient transfer from short-term memory to the all important long-term memory. Paul deserves his 1M! Cheers from Louisiana 🤘🎸

    Actually, he doesn't go down, as you said at 03:01. He does a 2 strings bend at 02:21. That's not the same as the slide from 16-14 fret

    This is one of your best video. I like it better when you limit your memes (even though they are appreciateted from time to times) but the low-in-cuts, more humane, more natural lessons are, i think, easier to digest and incorporate.
