You really want to know what I think? I think if you can buy a vehicle that can hit 60 in under like 5 seconds with a top speed of 150+ you should have to take a drivers test! It's way to easy to get a DL in Pennsylvania! Half the people can drive as it is.

I’m surprised the explorer st didn’t get mentioned. It’s pretty quick in stock form making 400 bhp and 415 tq from a TT v6.
With a couple bolt ons and a tune that number jumps to about 440-450whp and 530+ tq

The way I see these things being driven they don’t need the power.
The drivers don’t possess the skills to drive them at all (they can barely drive around corners without stopping, cause accidents) and I’m not talking about because the drivers are having fun by driving them at there limits!

I'm not too sure about what I'm about to say but The New Range Rover SV doesn't use the Full 625HP M engine. Also, the SVR Rover would've been a proper fit here. Not the big Range Rover luxury boat.😊

I like how these SUV’s have so power. Instead of getting two vehicles, a SUV and a fast car. Just get a high powered SUV and drive it like normal til some kid thinks they’re fast in their Honda because they added a fart box and a air intake

Can’t get away in a slow suv.
Note the Porsche Chayenne beat the Lamborghini in the Laguna Secca Race Track, by a car length, though left all other Super SUV's a block behind. Track Hawk has at least 1 more year, and it would be my choice.. Though the Ulrus with the Naturally Aspirated is the one want and no matter how old it is it out of my financial reach. Without warranty on a 5 year Ulrus Banks won't give out loans lol.

My dudes... These vehicles are the very reason why I insist that people who want to drive a classic car as a daily almost double the performance from stock. An I6 65 mustang will be stomped on by virtually every car on the road today. You need 300hp in one of those just to keep pace with trafdic. I drive a 312hp NB miata and a Palisade was pacing me. Crazy drivers are abound today. When they all drive high performance sport SUVs, you'll have a hard time getting away from one that starts to rage at you after drifing into their lane while they were riding your blind spot. When everyone drives race cars on the highway, the highway becomes a racetrack. With all the pitfalls that come with it. So yes, SUVs do need to chill out. They don't need to all be a "ten second car". As much as I love the neo-muscle car era, having to modify your car just to keep up with traffic, is an underwhelming achievement. These days I would need something like a 500hp miata just to keep pace with hellcats. With the insanity of 1000hp electric hummers, I'd have to build a drag car just to keep up with one of those. Let's just hope that the prices of these remain above the $100k mark. I'd hate to see the Hummer EV become as common as an RTX or F150 Raptor.

I've always believed that making big heavy vehicles this fast is irresponsible. Trucks and SUVs have a hich center of gravity so they don't turn all that well and the brakes, which may be excellent for a 3700 pound passenger car, are easily overwhelmed by the mass of an SUV. When I had my Procharged C5 Z06, it only took one instance of brake fade to convince me to upgrade the brakes (Wilwood 6 piston F and 4 piston R with pads suitable for higher speeds). When I installed a Stillen SC on my G37X I upgraded the brakes to Infiniti sport brakes with appropriate pads. My C6 Z06 got new rotors and appropriate pads right after I bought it. If you're gonna go fast, ya dammm well better be able to stop and/or avoid. Manufacturers just care about liability. Anything to make a buck.
