Could you upload the list of languages in the order you say them? Your pronunciation is amazing! With a list people could look up "their" language and really see how good you are . 😃
YAY man! I'm so glad I motivated you to do this! It's a bit hard for the memory, but it's so fun and so interesting and I do believe it is worth it in the end! You are officially the new winner of the challenge :) What is your nationality? Which languages were the easiest and which were the most difficult for you?
Ciao Muriel - Grazie per i tuoi complimenti, è un onore per me di essere uno di voi ormai!Sono Svizzero dalla parte francese, ma ho vissuto nella parte tedesca per più di 40 anni. The easiest languages were those I speak, of course. Namely French, German, Italian, English, Greek and Farsi. Plus the ones that are closely related to these 6 (Romance languages, Germanic and nordic languages, as well as all the Indo-European languages from Bangla to Kurdish). I speak a bit of Arabic, so all the Semitic languages (Arabic, Maltese and Hebrew, and indirectly Aramaic, Tamasheq, Amarinya, Tigrinya and Kiswahili) weren't that big a deal. For reasons I couldn't explain the most difficult ones for me were Runa Simi (Quechua), Vietnamese and Qartuli (Georgian). These I really had to learn by heart since there were absolutely no similarities or linguistic relations to anything. And, of course, the subtile differences between Qasaq, O'zbez Kyrgyz and Turkmen, as well as the ones that distinguish Slovak from Slovene, Czech or other Slavic languages of the Balkans.
I understand! I am a little jealous of Swiss people, because you live in a multilengual country, that maybe motivates you to learn more languages. I hope one day I will be fluent in more than just two languages as well. Speaking is life!
Wooow I'm impressed, as well as suprised ^^ What you did is just so hard, and I know what I'm talking about hahah I still haven't looked at the whole video, but I want to see it in good conditions, but I'll give you another feed-back (I guess I may have a few questions to ask you then) ;) Anyway, that's a real good job man, and congratulations for beating me so brilliantly, I just love it :) I'll write you more later, cheers :) :) :)
