that's a good lesson about the dangers of investing (learn about stop loss etc). That being sad, its a good company and they will rise again (but not to 1200)
Fully agreed! SMCI is not a good company: low margin, low market share, negative operating cashflow and huge debt. When SMCI could not afford to buy Nvidia chips any more, the sales of Nvidia will crash like a rock.
I personally sold. But in my case it was a small portion of my portfolio so the losses weren’t big in proportion to my overall gains. I might regret it in the shorter term, but to be honest it’s not the typical stock type I invest in, so in the longer term I’ll get over it. I mostly did it to buy some longer term bonds in case rates come down soon. Everyone’s investment style and risk is different though. So don’t go by me.

Earnings was good actually. As usual overreaction from the market.
Hey Colin! Are you familiar with TMDX. I'm curious to see your thoughts on this company
Robinhood multiplies the fraction shares at the time of split, so you get to keep the stock
So the stock price could be around 600 before split after split it goes to 60 per stock?!
@@ehsanghor4395yes but you will have 10 stocks

What will the stock split be for the option holder example holding $1000 call expiring Jan 2025?
Why'd they wanna do that? Stock has been splitting over last few months on its own

Why compare a silicon manufacturers profit margins to a server manufacture?
You aren’t comparing companies. You’re comparing $$ invested into one vs the other.
They are expending big time, they are building a lot fabrication sites. The margin will come back a bit.
I’ve lost a lot of money in this after investing at the top of the rise. Halved my money. Do I sell or do I hold on?
Hard to say at this point😢
I’m m in the same boat. What do I do?!?!?
If you don’t want to hold a stock for 10 years don’t hold it for 10 seconds

Looked brutal. I’m hearing so many bad experiences from people staying at ABNB that I’m worried the brand might be faltering.
