Utah Mom Kouri Richins Appears in Court Ahead of Preliminary Hearing in Husband Poisoning Case

- Children's author and mother Kouri Richins appeared in a Utah courtroom Monday afternoon for a brief hearing. During the hearing, prosecutors were allowed to admit additional evidence before Richins' preliminary hearing on Wednesday. The author is accused of fatally poisoning her husband with fentanyl and later writing a book about grief.

If i were her id fire my attorney based on this motion/status hearing. Idk, deal with aviation and admiralty but jeez. Should be objecting to everything to preserve. And rarely concur with opposing counsel. She is very unprepared for this hearing based on demeanor. Id almost venture to say it could be significant on review. Plus at least try a motion for summary dismissal based on PC affidavit.
