  • Well as you know "as seen on TV" is not real life. I have really been struggling to make a video of catching fish the last 2 weeks. Today i have a new toy that i had been wanting to get, to help get some fish. The Bobby Garland itty bit lures at least got me on some bluegill.

I have one of these... love it for a 10’...Not really a dry compartment in front..I put a dry bag in mine and store rain gear etc! Tracks well, slower than the heavier 12’ but not too bad!🤙

This video resonates with me, I’ve had several fishing trips that were total busts through out the year, that kept me from keeping the videos rolling from week to week. It’s so hard trying to grow a channel when setbacks like those happen. I work a full time job and married, so the time I have to film these videos have to count. All in all it’s a blessing and fun doing RUclips.
Great video and glad you reviewed this kayak, I’ve been looking at one at Academy. God bless!

Good stuff, John! I remember when you mentioned to me you were looking into getting another kayak & had some different types in mind..Glad it worked out, altho when I saw how easily it rocked side to side, and you mentioned wanting to stand up in it, I wanted to yell at the screen.." John, DON"T DO IT!!" as I was expecting to see a very cold ending to this video! Glad you stayed dry, Bro! :-)

Don't worry about the size of the fish. I subscribed to this channel because your love for fishing is contagious. Sometimes they are big, sometimes small, but it is the fishing adventure that is the most attractive part of your channel. Keep creek fishing or any other body.

Good video. I’ve been fishing Itty Bitty baits for a few years now and there’s nothing like it. I’m waiting for you to get into something large on tiny gear, and it can be done. I catch crappie over two pounds and landed a Tilapia last year that went just over 5 lbs. I use the BG stuff to find the fish then switch to a hand tie in a color close to what’s working and doesn’t tear up easy. Break offs happen but the fun is off the charts. Keep after it, you teach us all and we look forward to the next one.........Time

the thing about small boats that make them stable is the V hull or semi V. the flatter the bottom of that boat is the bigger the tip factor. No big deal in a stream with bottom close but to far off shore in deep water you might end up swimming. lol

I feel your pain. I have been on a horrible dry spell. I haven't caught a bass in the last four trips out. In fact, i haven't caught a single fish the last four times out. Its just tough during this time of year unless you have a big boat and fish in deep water. It will start picking up soon, hang in there.

Good video, I have the same kayak. The little rails on each side in the front art Scotty tracks and they have lots of stuff. I have another rod holder on the right rail. The drybox ain't dry! I bought a removable skeg from eBay. It has a mount you glue to the bottom and the skeg slides in. Helps a lot with tracking. Also putting the seat in the low position helps if your paddling a distance. Nice day today! You go out?

Be careful with dragging it in rough areas, like down that bank rough and rocky rough, in the cold. That plastic is brittle and will crack pretty easily. The way you fish with minimal gear, it shouldn't be to bad, but if you're packing weight on it and dragging it around it might happen.
