Cheers for this, I've been looking for "blueprints for bird houses free" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Daniliana Birdfly Babar - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.

Some of the birds we get around here have told me they are fans of Frank Lloyd Wright so I'm sure you have birds that will like that bird house. Seriously though, that's one fine bird house. I might add some the features to my own house.

hmmm...imma make it a feeder for small birds & make a small diameter chicken wire entry fence. I already chuck sunflower seeds out for the big birds.
Birdhouses are always fun projects, you can imagine up anything. This on is great, and any bird that live in it, I'm sure will be a proud home owner

Never been overly excited by mid-century modern/FLW design; not my personal taste. That said, I loved the birdhouse and the attention to details in the buildout. That’s what I appreciate most about your content - you go the extra step(s) to really finish out every piece.
Think you should do a series where u build birdhouses inspired by different architects.

Great work and humor I also live in Ohio and have about 20 different birds in my back yard very nice to see and listen to that bird house is so nice I would want it to last for many years for other to enjoy.

dude, very entertaining production value; this should have a million views. please hinge the roof for cleaning out this beautiful bird oven. oh yes, and some ventilation & drain holes so it doesn’t cook its moldy guests.

A great design and nice use of many different materials and using the glow forge to add a lot of detail. With all the finish work it should hold up for years. Great tip with washer around the entrance hole.
Pretty sweet birdhouse for a dude that doesn't like birds!...Maybe you should've just painted on the round entry hole :-) I just finished a scrap bird feeder and did video about it...Love the look of this!

Good fun. Much of my scraps end up as birdhouses. They make great gifts. I have found that a good clear latex coating will make most materials last several years. Including plywood and pine. Enjoyed the video. Thanks David

That is one fancy AF bird house. What a fun project! My favorite sculpture I've made so far was out of plywood. It spent one week inside and the the rest of it's life outside. I loved watching it deteriorate over the next few years. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

@@MakeSomething Unfortunately, no. This was six years ago and I'm sorry I didn't document it. The piece stood about four feet tall, was an abstract geometric shape with holes throughout it, and sturdy enough to climb on. The faces were painted a deep red with Pollock-esque splattering on top, and the edges were painted black. As it aged in the back yard, the layers peeled and curled away like a wilting plant. This was my favorite because it came out exactly like I envisioned it in my head. I may try to recreate it and takes pictures as it decays.
