Battle Cry: DRDO Starts Trials Of Light Tank Zorawar, To Hand Over Project To Army In Months

- In another push for the indigenous defence sector, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), which is the research and development wing of the Defence Ministry, has started internal trials for the light tank 'Zorawar'. Light in weight, and easier mobility, these tanks of the Army are set to address defence capabilities in high-altitude areas, including the Ladakh sector.

Gen Zorawar was in the employment of Jammu's Dogra Ruler Gulab Singh Dogra, who was subordinate to The Sikh Rulers of Lahore. Gen Zorawar's forces carried the Khalsa colours / flag of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Empire.

@@mbchadha with all due respect I am not involving any political incompetent to this. AMCA project started before Su 57 by Russia and it is operational today by Russian airforce, whereas AMCA is still a trial stage. I believe in our PM but can't trust the organisation with priority like HAL and DRDO with ontime delivery.
They are actually inducing 59 before...

There is a factory which manufactures tanks and supplies to army. There are different kinds of tanks for different purposes and terrains .
