Your review is right on point. $25 for a generic body repaint with virtually no accessories is ridiculous. A flight stand or an alternate “era correct” head sculpt would have gone a long way to taking some of the stings out of this release. I really do like the face sculpt on Outback Rogue. I agree it is the closest we’ve gotten to a perfect Rogue face yet. It reminds me of how Mike Wieringo drew her in the original Rogue Limited Series from way back in the day.
I think you're right on the money with the cost point, in a sea of reviewers who try and sweep it under the rug or not bring it up as much, it is always welcome to hear someone who will tell it to ya straight. Good review, I think the headswap with AOA Rogue looked pretty good.
This is a fair evaluation of Rogue. Nice head sculpt (probably the best Rogue yet!), but this plain of a figure with almost no accessories and fuzzy paint should be available at $20, not $25. Like you said, at $25, throw in a flight stand. Oh, and Hasbro not reusing the sculpted Scarlet Witch upper torso is just adding insult to injury. The mold already exists and fits the style of this outfit exactly. Weird choice to not use it and then screw up the paint job that’s covering for it
I think Mcfarlane is better, but Legends has more of a good variety. I just really want a good 70's Batman, a good Superman (It would be cool to also see him in his original suit,) and Green Lantern.
This was a good video and I think your views on price are on point. The current status quo impacts my buying decisions. There's also something about this figure that is a little off but I can't quite put my finger on it. However, this is my favorite look for Rogue, so I'm torn on buying it and will probably wait for a sale.
Since Marc Silvestri was the artist drawing Uncanny X-Men at the time Rogue wore this outfit, I would have preferred a Silvestri stylized head. The J Scott Campbell one just doesn't make sense to me.
I definitely agreed, that figures like these should include more stuff that makes them worth it. A new head and some additional hands to me makes it feel a tad lack luster. Also the pricing makes it not feel really worth it either. Keep up the great videos Jason!
I still just want a decent 90’s rogue, and for them to finally make some X-men Evolutions inspired figures. This one while technically being nice, and having a great head sculpt, I find it downright inexcusable how little you get with this. I recently purchased the Marvel Legends Morlun from the armadillo wave, he came with a whole second head and the BAF piece… AND SHE ONLY COMES WITH TWO FISTS??? Nah. Maybe on sale
Youre definitely on the money with the price. If mcfarlane can give you a brand new figure with accessories and a window box for 22.99. Its a crime that marvel can give you only a pair of hands with no window box for 24.99! Stay on them Jason!
😅after watching this I’m almost expecting the next upload to be a “why I’m done with Marvel Legends”. But seriously I agree about the price and lack of accessories, at least a flight stand dang it.
Sad, but at Comics n stuff (a toy and comic book store) in Southern CA they are selling this action figure for almost 40 dollars!!.. The problem is that you can't find this action figure ans others at mormal retail stores like Target or Walmart whee the orice is fair at 24 or 25 dollars !! Has anyone out there seen this figure at Target or Walmart??
Well someone at the grocery store guessed I'm five years older than I am which is a bummer lol but otherwise I am okay. I think it is a combination of just not being a figure I am super stoked for, and at too high a price. Also, I was less jokey than usual. Only so many different ways I can say she looks like she is on the way to the gym lol Hope you enjoy the next ones more!
@5POA Figure Reviews I’m sorry, that had happen to you. When my older brother had picked me up in his car from my private school in high school some of the teachers treated me like I was the older brother because I had a lot more facial hair than my older brother which is quite true actually lol. Though, they did that jokingly manner lol. Also I can see why you’re not all interested into this figure which is completely fine because I prefer getting figures that are actually worth and that I will definitely enjoy. I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow Jason and keep making awesome videos!
@@5POAFigureReviews Yeah, I have no connection to this suit (or Rouge's character for that matter) and with it being overpriced, a reused body with no sculpted detail with essentially no accessories, Id be a little depressed.
The head sculpt is the only draw to me, but was squashed when you popped it on Retro/Juggy’s body. I also don’t like the price hike for less. I’m getting into Black Series, and those guys are $25 for only a few accessories, at best. Licensed figures or not, it’s a whole lot of money. G.I. Joe Classified has more articulation and weapons, and are a little less. For ML and BS (which overall, it truly is) I’m only getting the figures I really want.

Good reference! I think you're right about Ringo
You are spot on on the cost! Its CRAZY how much they are charging for SO little
I saw the new Ant-Man at Target last night and like, again, $25 for nothing but a couple hands a body we've seen a million times.

Thanks Jacob!
great looking figure rogue has always been one of my favorites
Same!

I think the Knightfall Batman has the potential to fill that slot for me.
I agree, this price point for what we get is ridiculous, for $25 I’d expect at least another head or set of hands, luckily I grabbed mine for $10
Nice!

What happened to Gambit? How come he wasn't in the comparison?
I was trying to keep it to only 80s era X-Men,l costumes, so I figured he could sit out this one
@@5POAFigureReviews ah I understand
I’m determined to get every rogue, but this release has me questioning that. I’d have much preferred the punky tattered tank top look.
Let’s get physical, Sugah
I was thinking of spoofing that for the cold open, but I couldn't find a way to make it work
Love all you reviews !
Thank you Isabel!

Normaly but look classic love it❤
T-Shirt suggestion: Rigamarole
Love it! Been thinking about shirts
Hasbro HAS to start adding accessories if they're going to charge an arm and a leg for repaints!
Excelente video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
🎉
Can you swap it with that toybiz?
Can it be swapped with the marvel select?
🎉❤

Nah lol in fact I just preordered Hawkeye and the Sky Cycle ha
Check your Ollie's stores if you have one near you. Got mine for $9.99.
Sweet!

I believe it's a Hasbro Pulse Exclusive.

Thank you!
Xcellent review but unXcellent price point.
Perfectly said
Mcfarlane can't even come near to this figure and it's sculpting quality
Hello
And I crazy of was the vibe of this video super off. Jason sounded more somber and it just felt weird.

PeG WaRmeR. .... she'll be on sail soon selling seaShells by the seaShore
Pretty sure she is only available online, so we will never know how successful (or probably not) she is.

The main difference is G.I. Joe is owned by Hasbro, so they can afford to have more accessories by not having to pay license fees, but still.
