    I've tried all kinds of solutions for, what are becoming, chronic saddle sores - many cheap to expensive bibs, creams, ointments, combos of those ... nothing worked. This was on top of keeping my bibs very clean.
    I came across your video about 2 weeks ago while dealing with another bout of them and figured, why not... This WORKS - Even with constant cycling over 7 days, they slowly faded away. They're not completely gone yet but damn close and I can ride with no pain.
    THANK YOU for sharing this Davide!!!!

    I have been through a very difficult situation during the last 8 days due to a serious irritation (bruising) on my butts after a 6 hours ride.I have stopped riding until this irritation is cured. However, after watching this video and reading the comments bellow, I ordered the Tea Tree oil and we'll see...I will be back to describe my experience.

      Try if it works for you. If you have irritation also a chamois cream should help

      @@DavideTravelli For the time being I am using Arnica cream following the instructions of my dermatologist and it seems to be cured little by little. As about the chamoi cream, I began using it just that day of the 6 hours ride but I think made a mistake: I followed the instructions of the cream factory and applied cream only on my skin while I should have applied cream on the pad too.

    Absolutely worked for me. My saddle sores were so bad they were ruining my rides and even affected my running. Just 10 days into two-a-day treatments with tea tree oil all but cleared it up. Looking forward to ramping my mileage way up. By the way, tried this on my feet too because I was running enough to screw up some toenails. Worked just fine. Thank you for the tip.

    Excellent video, I agree wholeheartedly. Tea tree oil also works excellent for infected cuticles around your finger and a toenails. It works very fast.

    Thank you so much for this advice. I also use tee tree oil for athlete's foot, usually, the itch is gone in two days.

    David, I’m about to go on a 7 day tour. After I have applied the tea tree oil, do I them apply chamois cream on top of the oil? Should I apply the chamois cream to just my chamois? What do you do? Thanks for the great video! Cheers

    • @DavideTravelli
      @DavideTravelli  2 года назад

      You probably don’t need the chamois cream but igf you wanna be on the safe side you could use it the first few days and then stop and see what happens

      Hey Víktor! I just use it pure, a couple of 2/3 drops each time.

    Do you use it before every ride or just when you Are getting saddle sore? Can you use the tea tree oil with chamois cream?

    • @DavideTravelli
      @DavideTravelli  6 месяцев назад +1

      You can use it before and after every ride. If you're at home after your post-ride shower or if you're bike travelling I usually clean up the sit bones area with a wet wipe when in my tent and then apply a few drops. You can use it in conjunction with chamois cream as well but unless there is a problem with either your saddle, saddle position or shorts if you cycle on an almost daily basis you will find you wont be needing chamois cream and just tea tree oil should be sufficient. Experiment after a while to avoid using chamois cream and see how it goes for you.
