10 minutes of control time with Stots not landing anything real himself, I don't understand this decision. You can say "while he's controlling, he's not landing any damage" but while he's controlling, his opponent isn't landing anything either. So how is that deserving of a win?
Did I enjoy the non-progressive grappling? No, but that doesn't mean the opponents that can't interrupt the control time should automatically win. That's crazy 😳
Over 10 min of control - kind of wasted control - but control nonetheless , probably should outweigh the opponents score on paper ..a draw would have been fair
I guess it comes down to who did the most damage overall aside from control time🤷🏽♂️

Sabatello is a ballsniffer,Ive never seen this guy doing anything other than diving for the legs and fit his head in his opponent's jock.
A great example of why a ref shouldn't listen to a fighter... Sabatello tried to say its all good but Stotts took advantage of the refs call which was then "cancelled"... ref should have stopped it and let them reset, regardless... 🤔
