One thing I'd like to do this year is to narrate more stories and overall just improve my narration. If you have any stories you'd think would make good videos let me know.
Do audiobooks on amazon
@J,Edgar Nocke I think I covered Hypnos a while back.
Great narration! Could you narrate parts from the Investigator’s Creed novel on Amazon? Or maybe I could send some horror stories I have written for you to narrate?
I think you covering HP Lovecraft's The Outsider would be good for your practice and the channel
Would you hate me if I ask for Tolkien? I have a feeling I'd finally appreciate his "wordiness" through your narration (which, I suspect would go well with the sweeping landscapes he so loved to describe in detail). As always, all the best, Myth!
This is truly what you call great content. I was really immersed into your story and your voice. Appreciate the hard work , keep it up my man 👊
I love your naration! Thanks for the video! Cthulhus mythos is better
I am so happy you did this! Dagon was the first work of Lovecraft's that I've ever read! Mythology & Fiction explained, you are the best channel on RUclips!
*Outstanding! A very good selection, classic Lovecraft, and excellent narration! Bravo!*
Lovecraft is one of my favorite horror authors. The scary part of his stories is that they probably contain more reality than some people may realize. They describe parts of the universe that lay just beyond the light of our own conscious scope. Who knows what ancient evils dwell just beyond the edge of darkness.
"Evil"
Its the best about his work it the fact that humans are basically unaware of the mechanization that the rest of the world is known too! The madness that comes from is the truth the characters discover!
A perfectly sloped, geometrical structure. Of course the only thing that Lovecraft fears more than different races... _math._
It's like his story the shadow out of time. The floor had a octagonal diagonal edges! Im all like what!?😵
To be fair, he was noted as not having the " constitution" for math 😂 and like I feel it but ??? Howard non euclidean structures are not Scary because * gestures at literally all of our architecture*
he doesn't fear other races he just hates them
@@MeatGoblin88 I think you have to feel both to write and say the things lovecraft has about other races whether alien or human lmao
Within the context of the story, finding this weird perfect structure in a supposedly mysterious dead island is indeed unsettling and it works.
But ye, lovecraft man
Yes more Cthulhu Mythos I am homeschooled and for my study I am doing mythology and the Cthulhu Mythos is my favorite
Edit love the music btw
Dagon! Quality material right here✔️
This is awesome please do more!
Read this today, funny coincidence. Also its an amazing video and a great channel thanks for all the content!
I just love how you say "saw" lolz
Remember when you read fairytales and fables. What happened to that series. I loved it. Can you bring it back please 👏
This was great. Keep it up- I found this channel because of your Lovecraftian themed videos, so this is perfect topic wise. The art was great. The one area I think you can improve on is overall pacing. So in general slow down, and think about what's happening in the story and how you can convey that with your delivery. For example, I would draw my words out and highlight SsSsS sounds when the monster slithers to the monolith and then read really fast (but not too fast lol) as the character, terrified, runs back to the boat. I also suggest slowing down a bit overall, it can be hard to understand what's happening especially with the older English. I just love your voice, and overall your enunciation was on point. Really looking forward to more of these
Dude I love this channel keep up the good work😀💜👋
Would mountains of madness be a possible story for a video or would that be too long?
If that would be too long, maybe The silver key would be interesting as well.
A great story from the endless dark blue ocean depths
I love a well narrated lovecraft story. The background music, artwork, and cadence of voice really help set a proper mood. Cant wait to see what's next
Gibbious is a word Lovecraft really loved to use to describe scenes. Along with gambrel roofed and shadowed.
I love the way you narrate these stories. Perfection!
Thanks for offering a great narration to one of my favorite Lovecraft stories
Wonderfully done!
Scary and yet cool
You are a legend
I didn't find this first story on The Call of Cthulhu that scary. But the next two are really eerie. I'm currently reading the book and I'm really enjoying it.
I love it! I'm getting really inspired by the imagery your narration is creating in my mind, and I'm playing the soundtrack to the story on my guitar as it develops. This is fun, and thank you!
Yay I’m first on my favorite RUclipsrs comment section
Lovely to see you do this would be awesome to see you do more too
Haha I clicked on this so fast I didn't know this was a narration, not an explanation on the Dagon mythos 😂😅 love you, Myth!😘
Yes. Fuck yes. The only voice that fits Lovecraft's work better is Wayne June. Please do more these are amazing.

I love your channel! Thanks for such good content 💖
I Firmly believe that listening to you at night will in fact give me nightmares.
I need to listen to Krampus yet, but I'd like you to narrate the Shadow over Innsmouth since you decided to start with Dagon, then you could do the same for another of the great dreamers kin.
Well read!!
I would love to see an in depth video about Morpheus.
Thanks much for the vid sir.
I think you should add more emotion like the feeling of fright on some part of the narration.
Yeah definitely something I want to work on.
@@MythologyFictionExplained Can't wait to hear you do various emotional voices for your next videos like this. The trick is to think yourself to be in the narrator's situation.
Great video
That was pretty dang good. You could make a living off making audio books.
Well, just pre order your book. Hope is as good as your videos. Keep the good work
Can you do a audiobook on the "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". It's kinda like this story. It is also by H.P. Lovecraft.
If you want a free audiobook of "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", do a Google for Hypnogoria.
I'm not sure if you ask people on what video they ask you to do? But if yes then can you please make a video talking about the makhai?
"...to the window, To The Wall".⛵
Will you please do some kind of video on the tv show VIKINGS
Your narration is awesome. I was deeply engrossed in it.
Yay I’m like one of the first few comments mission completed
I remember reading this before
H.P. Lovecraft and Poe if they were too early, mediocre are longer than turtles, they were right the purposes of fate and the universe are unfathomable !.
That was pure poetry.
Do audiobooks on amazon
Once I improve a bit I'd love to put the Dark World Series on Amazon.
Mythology & Fiction Explained I would be cool if audible hooked you up to read your new book for them if they do completely your choice if you do it I will try and preorder your book
