    I have been to Graceland 2 times he put bars on the windows after the Tate murders. I was there in 2011 and 2017. I can feel his spirit there other people had said the same thing. I saw him in person in 1975 and 1976 had tickets to see him in 1977, but sadly he left us. We were 4 rows back center stage. When he came out he was the most beautiful and handsome man I ever saw. I Love Elvis so much. Thank you

      The bars were installed before the Tate murders according to Angie Marchese.

    I visited Graceland in 1990, and I was standing at the grave and felt that there was some commotion or excitement with the crowd --- it was PACKED. I thought maybe a celebrity had stepped outside and was doing a tour. And I looked around but didn't see anything going on. Then it gradually dawned in me that my chest was heaving, and, oh, wow, I was sobbing, but I didn't even realize it. I felt it was his presence entering the area.

    Jesse Garon is not actually buried at Graceland. Vernon could not remember where he had buried him in Tupelo. Of course, now, Benjamin and Lisa are now buried behind Elvis. The night before he passed, he took the Stutz out for a visit to his dentist. The Heartbreak Hotel has been torn down. The smaller plane is lemon yellow and lime green decor. When I was there in 06, in the car museum when you walked in, John Force's car and Rusty Wallace's were there.

    It's interesting to talk to locals who were young adults in the 60's. They'd run in to Elvis when they were out with friends and just have a regular conversation, like he wasn't the king of rock n' roll. Lived there for several years, but only visited a couple times. The Sun Studios tour is neat too if you ever get a chance to go back.

    Pricilla opened Graceland for tours. Lisa Marie was only 13 when the home was opened.
    Marty Lacker and his wife and children lived in the apartment above the garage for several years. Elvis eventually bought them a trailer and placed it on the grounds after the Lacker's outgrew the tiny apartment.

    The funny car was owned by John Force it was a tribute car to Elvis Presley John idolized Elvis. He used to get out of the car and say he was going so fast that he thought he saw Elvis at a thousand foot! Just like Elvis John was the greatest funny car driver to ever put on a suit and helmet! 16x world champion with 157 NHRA wins. And that was Rusty Wallace's number to NASCAR he also was a champion racer but cried a lot! Both were tribute to Elvis. They donated the cars to the museum.

  • @mikebryant8498

    Should've done a lot more homework before doing this. The apartment was never the trophy room and his grandmother never lived in the apartment. Charlie Hodge, his friend and back up singer lived in that apartment. Actually the apartment was over to the right back corner of the house. Looking towards the back of the house. You can now go in that and its part of the VIP tour and is a place to rest and cool off and see other Elvis artifacts. The bedroom with the purple was originally his parents room , but after his mom died his grandmother , Minnie Mae moved into that bedroom. The trophy room was always just that even when Elvis was alive. It also housed his jumpsuits and also a slot car track. He enjoyed taking guest to that room to show off all of awards and trophies and gold records. His dad, Vernons office was never the smoke house. The smoke house is actually the small part where he had the target set up for shooting. I have been to Graceland several times, the last time being August of 2022. A lot has changed even across the street is different than was back in 2008. There was only two ways to get upstairs to Elvis room and one was the main stair case. The other was the stairs through the kitchen. The stair case in the Jungle room did not go up to his room. Those stairs took you outside to the sun deck on the back of the house. I actually have some pictures taken at Graceland and a couple of them do show figures looking out windows where no one should've been. One from his bedroom looking out actually does look like Elvis, but who knows that it is.

    You need to research your facts a little better. Elvis was the first to be buried there, he was originally buried next to his mother in Forest Hill Cemetery, then there was an attempt to steal his body, so Vernon got special permission to have his body interred at Graceland and they moved his mother at the same time. Then Vernon and his mother, and now Elvis's grandson and daughter, have joined them, much sooner than they should have. There is also a marker for Jesse Garon, but they were unable to locate his body, to have it moved. Elvis left everything to Lisa, but she was only 9, so Vernon was named executor, until she turned 25. When he died in 1975, Priscilla took over as executor. I seem to remember that Lisa extended the age for her to take possession of her inheritance. Graceland is the second most visited private residence, second only to the White House. The last income figure I remember hearing is $100,000,000 a year. One last thing, Elvis started wearing jumpsuits from his first return to the live stage in 1969, the rip was to a jumpsuit. He decided on jumpsuits because of the Karate moves he included in his performance, they allowed him freedom of movement.

    I've been to Graceland do I think he died in 77 no. He could be dead now but I don't think he died in 77. Has anyone ever looked at the video of Priscilla and Lisa on Oprah when she accidentally said that she spoke to him the other day you can Google it for yourself and it's a video on it she said I talked to him the other day and the producers looked at her. Also you have to listen to the lyrics of Lisa's songs. Js .. like I said you could be dead now but I don't think he died in 77, I mean he's very last song was I did it my way if you listen to the lyrics give you clues there, too many clues out there. My opinion

    Well you let it go on for so long! And you have to admit you said things and slipped. Like I used to have a lame gold suit like that. Raising your head speaking to God saying….Cmon Elvis you know better……
    You said during a service one day that you shook your hips like he did but now move your shoulders only!
    I have always felt it was a NO. But I am sorry if I learned anything in my life, my sucky f^cky life is that no matter what a person will say, somehow everyone is lying to you. Anyway Elvis had beautiful full lips. He knew twin things. I’m a twin. I had a twin brother who passed 7 days after our 37th birthday. I knew before they told me. Then the twin guilt of why I was left here alone. I do mean all alone. Bob Joyce has thin lips. But the broken left pinky. We will never ever really know. It makes no difference to me. I love them both. 💖
    But in MY HEART Elvis & Lisa Marie Live on! ❤️🙏👑🎤🎸⚡️

      How anyone ever came up with the ridiculous notion that Bob Joyce is Elvis is beyond me! They have evidently never listened to Elvis or took a good look. The only thing even remotely similar between them is their hair, if that's all it takes, then since I have red hair, that makes me Ann-Margaret! 😂

      @martyarnold4159 3 месяца назад

      I don't know what you've been listening to, but you need to check your ears and listen again! Elvis thought Roy Orbison had the best voice, I agree Orbison was good, but his voice was not nearly as versatile as Elvis's. Elvis not only had a beautiful voice, he had one of, if not THE widest range of anyone's, and he had such complete control of every note, his voice was like the finest instrument ever crafted. Yet that wasn't the most important part of his singing talent. The magic came from the emotion and heart he infused into every word and note. When Elvis sang you didn't just he ar it with your ears, you felt it with your heart, your soul, and every nerve in your body!❤❤❤ There are many good singers, but Elvis was in a whole different stratosphere that no one else ever has or will come close to. Tom Jones doesn't even make the top 100 of those others, Elvis liked him, so he must be a good person, but as a singer, he's a Ford, while Elvis is a Rolls Royce with a lot of Mercedes, Cadillacs and Lincolns etc between them.
