I really felt for the character, and I loved the movement system, not to mention the lack of tailing missions. I also had a relatively bug free experience my first time, and the only thing that bugged me was the huge amount of pop in, especially when looking down to the streets.

I started AC games with II and Brotherhood, stopped with Origins for now but Unity is really standing on top for me with the Ezio Trilogy, maybe because i'm french and i'm happy to see an AC game in France but the feeling of the city was unreal when i first played it and still is.
There was this time where we would make hidden blades like the really dull ones so they didn't hurt and its amazing to play with especially the fully automatic one. Still figuring out how to make my phantom blade crossbow mechanism to be stronger though. We would perform so many "assassinations" and "air assassinations". It was so dang fun. Good memories.

'a few bugs'? lol k I don't rate games only by the technical problems. But the plot was just bad as Twilight, and doesn't even make sense. A story about French guy who loves his half sister and join the brotherhood for nothing? Arno is the worst assassin from the franchise. He doesn't even have 'creed'. I think the parkour mechanic is very cool though, but the combat is really fucked up. the snipers are so precise that they can shoot Arno on the middle of crowded street.

Unity was not that bad, but the trailers painted a whole different picture and the story was quite underwhelming for what it could have been. I mean, the french revolution as a setting is probably one of the most cataclysmic events in history outside the world wars yet the story barely correlated with it.
Was pretty disappointed to find out these other assassins are just nameless characters who just serve the purpose of being played in co-op. They really seemed interesting to me, especially the dude on the far right.
