"Its redistribution of wealth aka taking someone elses money without their consent to give to another person that hasn't earned it." What you are describing is profit for the ownership class. The ownership class is not productive, does not work, and is parasitic. They are made up of people who simply own businesses (or shares of businesses) and take the difference between their costs (including salaries) and their revenue and then keep the difference, aka "profit." That profit (aka the worker's "excess value") and their owner (unless they are a worker as well) did not earn any of the money; the workers did. It's wealth distribution from the productive working class to the parasitic capitalist class. If you are opposed to people taking money they have not earned, you should be opposed to the ownership class, not working, and disabled people trying to simply avoid being homeless. If people were paid what they were actually worth (such as in co-ops), most would not need assistance. Instead, the ownership class, like the Walton family, pays their workers starvation wages and expects the taxpayer to subsidize their low wages with things like Medicaid, food stamps, and Section 8.

Every road you drive on, stoplight, law enforcement, emergency services, public service agency and entity that makes this a functional and relatively safe place to be is taxpayer money. Suck it up! So what? What do you care about who is classified as “ black” and what they may or may not receive? What is it to you?
So the government pays 70% of the house payment, and when its paid off and it doubles in value, the sec 8er gets all the money! What a fool I was working forty years to buy a house and earn a pension, when all had to do was fill out some forms. WTF!
Can we pay attention and be real with others. This will make a lot of people lazy. Screw people over. They say Section 8 is 7-8 years long for waiting list. To save time and cut in front of the line. File DV case with your partner and you automatically get a Section 8 housing. 😂
I live in a low income housing environment that goes by the government name of "Section 8." Me and a group of my allies control certain areas of this section in order to run our illegitimate business. We possess unregistered firearms, stolen vehicles, mind-altering inhibitors and only use cash for financial purchases. If anyone would like to settle unfinished altercations, I will be more than happy to release my address. I would like to warn you; I am a very dangerous person and I regularly disobey the law.
@@jonathangarcia4089 the government doesn't give you money just because you're lazy. People like you are fools. I hope you don't call yourself a Christian.
Do they require the people to take care of the property, pay their HOA fees, and not bring trashy ass habits into nice neighborhoods? I get wanting a better life but why bring ghetto behaviors into it?
Yes. We voucher holders have to take care of the property and homes. If not, the housing authorities will not pay their portion of the mortgage. We still have annual inspections on our homes and properties to make sure we're maintaining them and that everything is in proper working order. I pay my HOA fees and I do not have nasty habits. I too was a taxpayer for many years before becoming disabled. I'm not ghetto either. This is why many people won't take housing vouchers anymore because they associate them with ghetto behaviors. I've had homeowners tell me that's the reason they won't take housing vouchers which is why it's extremely difficult to find a nice home to rent.
The rest of us have to work hard buy our own stuff and pay taxes so other people can do nothing and own a home. You shouldn't be able to take from the pot if you haven't contributed to the pot. You end generation poverty by getting off your ass. Not simply taking from other people.
So if your mother and/or father became disabled and couldn't work you'd have the same mind set? FYI, I contributed MANY years before I became disabled. I even worked through my disabilities until I no longer could. Think before you let your mouth overload other parts of your body.
Just like when I paid taxes for many years before becoming disabled for those who were disabled and retired. Where do you think your mother and father's SS retirement comes from? Everyone else's tax dollars. Apparently you don't have a problem with them receiving other's tax dollars.
@@marigailcooper8925I agree!!and let's not forget people who passed away before receiving their benefits. Where dose that money go? Back into the system!!

Untill uncle sam..says we're flat broke and...bank ...throws you out on street
Section 8 is all Taxpayers money. And 9 out of 10 section 8 were black in CA.
Lol
Lies I live in California I see more others than blacks in these housing authority communities and on Section 8
WTF!
Trust me. You'd rather be able to work than to have to deal with numerous health issues like I have and some are potentially fatal.
That home isn’t yours it owed by the hard working tax payers of this country.
As of 2024 housing voucher program is closed for 3 years…2027 is far away
Sec 8 blows
Dammm y work?
It's called disability. Some people really need to educate themselves before making fools of themselves.
@marigailcooper8925 not everyone on it has real disabilities did I hit a nerve 🤔
WOW ! The only trashy ass habit here is your attitude , rudeness , lack of common decency or even basic manners and your comment .
smdh
The rest of us have to work hard buy our own stuff and pay taxes so other people can do nothing and own a home. You shouldn't be able to take from the pot if you haven't contributed to the pot. You end generation poverty by getting off your ass. Not simply taking from other people.
Yes! Exactly!
Hand up, not hand out.
-Prez Bill Clinton
So if your mother and/or father became disabled and couldn't work you'd have the same mind set? FYI, I contributed MANY years before I became disabled. I even worked through my disabilities until I no longer could. Think before you let your mouth overload other parts of your body.
@@marigailcooper8925 what's this have to do with disability?
@@marigailcooper8925they're talking about people who aren't disabled and can work but dont want to
I guess working isn't worth it when you can live off someone else's sweat.
So if your mother and father become disabled and can't work they don't deserve SS disability? You can become disabled at the drop of a hat.
Ignorant
You need to do your research. Most people of Section 8 actually work they just cant afford the full amount of rent
Such a fool.
Do better in life.
Say thank you to all the hard working tax payers who made this possible for you and keeps on providing threw their paychecks
Just like when I paid taxes for many years before becoming disabled for those who were disabled and retired. Where do you think your mother and father's SS retirement comes from? Everyone else's tax dollars. Apparently you don't have a problem with them receiving other's tax dollars.
You’re so bitter that poor people are able to achieve something with some help.
@@marigailcooper8925the ignorance! I'm happy for you and I hope you experience a lifetime of good memories in your new home!
@@marigailcooper8925I agree!!and let's not forget people who passed away before receiving their benefits. Where dose that money go? Back into the system!!
Tell your parents and grandparent to thank me for my taxes paying their SS retirement when I was able to work. You're welcome.
We bought her a home
And I paid your parents and grandparents SS retirement when I paid taxes before I became disabled. Don't make stupid comments.
It’s not yours, it’s the bank.
If you are a landlord you are crazy to take Section 8. The tenants will screw you on a third of the rent. Section 8 will never have your back. Don't bother.
That’s what the courts and eviction is for. All landlords have that option regardless of how the tenancy is set up.
BS I dont buy it. Sounds easy cause its not true. .
Well, here I am living in my house, so, yeah it is.
Can you do this in Buffalo NY
Call the housing authority in your city or county. Good luck.
