    Hey Nathan, thanks for all your videos, i've learned so much from you, You're a frickin' star, my man.
    I've never played an actual real world game of poker in my life, just video games like Poker NIght 2 and Prominence Poker on Playstation, and er... mostly I do alright.
    But I'm getting more and more tempted to just dip my toe into playing some online poker, those micros you talk about, sounds intriguing. But I don't know where to start. Can you (or anyone actually) suggest some good sites? I am totally unused to online gambling sites so I am clueless.

    Hi Nathan
    Long time viewer and wanted to ask your advice (unrelated to the topic of this video).
    I have been playing a lot of heads-up sit and gos, I've been doing alright but I'm wondering if PT4 would add any value to my game when I'm only against 1 opponent at a time? What kind of HUD stats would you suggest for these games?
    TIA

    Since players don't like to fold at the lower stakes, how do you reconcile playing weak hands from the button and cutoff while pretty much knowing that at least one player is going to call or reraise?

    Blackrain I have a question, does this 15% range apply to every position or if you are on button and Co position play a larger range than 15%. Can this 15% range be applied to any position?

    • @loweffortedward
      @loweffortedward 2 месяца назад

      You play more hands from the button and the cut-off and you play less from other positions. The standard is 15-20% (think from MP).

    Can we get a video on tips for poker home games specifically? For example, should you change your play style?

    • @slowery43
      @slowery43 Месяц назад

      Aside from taking a rake there is no difference it is the same game. At casinos some games are very conservative, some games are highly aggressive, some have people that have no concern with money (I've palyed several times where someone would go "all in" every hand preflop full stack. One of the only things about a home game is that it has a far greater chance of being rigged and/or collusion. Go watch HCL live you'll find out that Wesley took Nik Airball for >$1,000,000 with a marked deck, this is more prevalent than you might think at home games. Online poker is even worse NEVER play online

  • @simonwashington9118

    Tip 1 should be don't play online..

      Why so?

    • @slowery43
      @slowery43 Месяц назад +1

      @@oblixts collussion is VERY prevalent, and there is no regulation to assure that the RNG is not rigged. There's been many cases of players, some big names too, playing at a single table under several different names giving them a significnat advantage in knowing what cards are out and which hand they need to beat you
