@@kanjionshasteen9159 winglets cut down on fuel consumption. They also disrupt the turbulent vortices that form at the tips of wings, reducing drag, and thus improving fuel economy.
Amazing graphics. The only thing I’ll knock ya on is Flight 11 and 175. Both flights dove something like 10,000 feet in a minute in a kamikaze dive over Manhattan to gain as much airspeed as possible before leveling out at around 1000 feet for the approach into the towers. My buddy’s dad saw it that day from the Brooklyn bridge. Such a sad day.
@@benwrong6855 yeah, flying at 500mph. Some jet pilots claim the plane can completely break apart at those speeds at such a low altitude, but who knows.
Flight 93 reached cruising altitude around 9:02am and the hijackers should've hijacked the plane around that time, but they waited till 9:28am which we will never truly know why because it cost them reaching their target.
My guess is they were the D team. White House and Pentagon were just bonus targets for them. They probably had the most competent teams on the towers. They probably hesitated and second-guessed what they were about to do, before finally doing it.
The memory of September 11 sill linger on with me and it will never go away from me I can write a book about it in real details of things that I never talked about, like the awful smell on apart of the under ground subway.
Try to turn on the uninterruptable autopilot on Flight 175, and the left side plates (X Y) if you can with the software. Leaving the right plates off. The “ Auto Pilot” button underneath On. That controls the plane, passes through the second tower, pulls up to 20 degrees, and tries to land slowly at a car’s speed.

I remember watching live when the second plane hit WTC---an act I'd probably done in FltSim a dozen times or more---only because the twin towers were an unmistakable landmark in the sim when flying around NYC in a Cessna 182rg Skylane and nothing much else scenery wise to look at in those days. September 11, 2001 chilled me to the core when it happened and still both fascinates and saddens me today. Ok...back to watching...
Thanks for this fine video. Question- A number of pilots have said that some of the move performed by the hijackers bound for the World Trade Center would not be possible because of the inexperience of the hijackers. How accurate is your simulation of the exact path of these planes, and in your opinion, were any of the movements too difficult for an inexperienced pilot to handle? Thank you.
Those guys could barely pilot single engine aircraft, to the point that it's speculated some of them had forged pilot's licenses. Look at the maneuvers they pulled before hitting the towers or the pentagon... there's no way such inexperienced pilots could pull these off so perfectly. Also, the planes were reported to have been traveling in excess of 500 mph at near sea level for extended periods of time, it doesn't make sense, would have torn passenger aircraft apart. So many things just don't add up under scrutiny. Thanks for asking the question lots of us are thinking
This must have taken quite some time to create. Thank you for your effort. Watching the AAF 11 footage has made me ponder something. I wonder if when Mohamed Ata said they were returning to the airport ... if any of the passengers on the left side of the plane (facing East) realized the position of the Sun. They were clearly heading more South than East. Never thought about that before...
I remember that terrible day, I remember we're I was and doing, driving a truck England UK listening to Michael McDonald "sweet freedom" on the radio and then an announcement of this news, great job on this video 👍
When I say it’s absurd to think our govt did this, it isn’t. They knew exactly what was going to happen. What happened took skill. May those people rest in peace. I hope they get to reunite with their families. Thank you for making this.
How has this not got more views already? I have to say, this one's right up there with VIPPrimo's forensic reconstruction for me. So what if the specific aircraft types were not available? I've seen documentaries on 9/11 where the footage features the wrong airline! Very very well done, congrats sir! Ps. I know you've only just made this version, but if you ever make a second one, a bit more ATC would be much appreciated! Not essential of course but since we see the fighters in this one as well, it would be good to hear a bit of the panicked chatter at the same time.
I agree, great job. I also agree that it would be even more realistic if at least a little bit reflected what was inside the planes. Although.. although, probably, it would be too cruel.
whats your air speed over NYC . it dont look anything near 500mph+ to the towers? and the spirl 330 degre down from 7000 ft straight into the pent, looks more like you flying around trying to find it.
Between 51:53 and 53:28, American Airlines 11 (Crashed into the North Tower) and United Airlines 175 (Crashed into the South Tower) actually flew over the same place at the same time, supposedly almost crashing into each other. This is an unlikely coincidence, since it would be far more likely that if the paths taken from Boston to New York crossed, that the planes would not cross paths at the same time. This occurred at approximately 8:36 am. ''USA Today: FAA Employee: Hijacked jets almost collided At 8.37am, UA 175 is asked to look for a lost American Airlines plane: “Do you have traffic look at uh your 12 to 1o’clock at about, uh, 10 miles southbound to see if you can see an American seventy six seven out there please.” UA 175 replies: “Affirmative we have him, uh, he looks, uh, about 20, yeah, about 29, 28,000.”
Those poor souls. Plus the aftermath. Financial problems, loss of non-forgiving spouse, job market woes, my stocks went "away". 9/11 in 2001 can shove it. Great video, BTW.
This is very well done, I would have preferred a view from inside the passenger area for the final trip into the towers. I’ve always been curious to see just how low they were flying just before impact.
Yes, seems odd that from the low background hum of normal chat, passengers are apparently completely unaware that the plane(s) have been hijacked despite the absence? of cabin crew, and the erratic low flight over buildings in the wrong direction? More context would be interesting - the exchanges between the hijackers, ground control, and politicians and when was the decision made to ground all aircraft so any further 'rogue' airplanes could be identified? But yes, well done indeed for reconstructing this tragedy so brilliantly!
Funny, that was why I spanked my monkey. Maybe you can go to Ukraine for another inane act defending people who have been infighting since the 12th century. The Arabs are incredibly honest people, if Osama had done this, guaranteed he would have said he did, if not just for the bragging rights alone. Don't be so quick to want to kill your brothers. All war does is suffer fools and injure, kill and maim the innocent, with the goal of making money and reshuffling the deck for another round of play for the brokers of the world. Don't be such a fool.
@@chansiykane3622 even the norad tapes? Even the airport crews? The calls from the planes? The calls from the towers? The millions of people on the street that day that witnessed it???
The towers really fell, just probably not the way whoever's really behind it wants you to think they did. Didn't actually believe that until I saw the Building 7 footage, that video made me wonder... We'll never know though.
This moment in history will never be forgotten, this moment happened so fast in the matter 12 seconds the world had changed that day and is still till this day still called the deadliest terrorist attack in history. And the fact that there making this unforgettable day a holiday next year, I find that to be extremely disrespectful because it’s like there celebrating all the people that lost there lives that day, it’s like there making fun of the people who lost there friends and family and some even there own lives. God bless to all the officers, firefighters, and civilians that have perished on that historic day.
I immediately thought of the people on the planes and in the building. Imagine sitting in your office on the upper floors and watching the jet plane coming right at them. How would you feel knowing that were going to die!! The same with the people on the plane.
What speed were the planes travelling at before hitting the towers in your simulation please? Its said it was over 500 mph which experiences airline pilots say even they could not achieve. At landing speed only one pilot managed this in a training simulation.
I have only one thing to nip about. United 93 did a inverted nose dive. I’ve never played MFS so the game might not let you do a inverted nose dive because i’ve seen some videos where the game tells them they’ve crashed because they did something that would’ve made them crash in the end ig. Just comment if the game doesn’t let you do that stuff. Thank you. Great video though, all the crash angles and heights were really accurate. Impressive stuff!
This is correct. MSFS 2020 Currently does not have any variation of the Boeing 757 thus I had to use an available aircraft which would resemble United 93 the most in post video editing. This is an Airbus A321. Unfortunately at the time of recording, one could not roll this particular aircraft past a bank angle of 60°. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching. :)
The last time I played MS Flight Simulator was 1989. So forgive if this is an ignorant question, but are you guys able to import some variant of the flight data to emulate these flights or how precise is it? I’ve seen some that show the way points and everything so just curious how this Intel is obtained? I imagine the ATC recordings from FOIA but unsure on the other data. Thanks
1989 ! Very impressive. Your question is valid. It is possible to import the flight path of the aircraft and use that flight path as a flight plan. It is also possible to import the flight data and have the flight simulator take the exact flight path using third party software as MS FS 2020 doesn't have this option. However, I did neither. I flew the flights manually and with my own flight plan using waypoints obtained from flight reports, and others that I chose for when the aircraft was in manual control. Everything was done from scratch for several reasons including the fact that I wasn't just simulating the flights. I was also recording them into recordings that would later be edited into the video we are discussing today. This gave me the most freedom of deciding what the final video would look like.
Interesting to see that Flight 93 Memorial is filled with trees in its area in MSFS 2020. When you look at Google Earth, there are trees around its area but not much of them in its area.
Planes terrify me even though my mom's brother was a Phantom 14 mechanic. This just made it worse.I am Mr T being put on a plane. I have had "family day" on base where the 130 damn near rolls over you. Canopies are awfully tight. Fighter planes are so different than those flying cans people put such trust into. Not me. Ever. Scary. God Bless those people. I hope they never saw the structure or heard terrain pull up.

Are you planning to create another simulation of non-fictional aircraft accident/incident? Or is there one in progress now?
Yes I am. The two 737 max crashes. Lion Air and Ethiopian airlines.
@@WrightSim I will be excited to see this video uploaded.
Could you do American 191?
Sure, I will act on your suggestion :-)
You did very well on the details. I still remember the day it happened. My birthday is the day before! Only complaint is, none of these jets were equipped with winglets at the time. Not a big deal at all. Just something I noticed as an av geek! Loved your video!
What would winglets have done I know nothing about aviation so I have no clue
@@kanjionshasteen9159 winglets cut down on fuel consumption. They also disrupt the turbulent vortices that form at the tips of wings, reducing drag, and thus improving fuel economy.
@crusade202 We would have picked on you endlessly as kids.... There goes terror boy!
You seem to know a lot about all of this.

Yeah almost seems impossible for both the high-jacker/amateur pilots to hit their target

Only 2 mins in and I'm already completely mesmerized...I can feel the anxiety building. I've been a msfs enthusiast since v 5.1a version for DOS , lol.
Wow is intense hard work you deserve 10 Thousand subscribers actually millions!!
This is so well done.
Thank you
This must have taken quite some time to create.
I'm surprised Europeans/Brits cared so much about 9/11? It was a foreign country an ocean away, plus I thought Europeans & Brits didn't like America?
RIP to those who die that day.
This is so well put together. Congrats. Keep it coming.
When I say it’s absurd to think our govt did this, it isn’t. They knew exactly what was going to happen. What happened took skill. May those people rest in peace. I hope they get to reunite with their families. Thank you for making this.
This was outstanding, thank you for your time.
¿how can the wings of the 2nd plane enter the tower?and how its head apear on the other side?
Amazing telling of the events of a very tragic day.
Thanks a lot for your positive feedback : )
Noted. I will keep that in mind.
Also might be nice about the planes they nearly collided with.
... God that sounds so morbid.
Im not an expert or anything but im pretty sure the e hijackers did exactly that when trying to find the pentagon

''USA Today: FAA Employee: Hijacked jets almost collided
At 8.37am, UA 175 is asked to look for a lost American Airlines plane: “Do you have traffic look at uh your 12 to 1o’clock at about, uh, 10 miles southbound to see if you can see an American seventy six seven out there please.” UA 175 replies: “Affirmative we have him, uh, he looks, uh, about 20, yeah, about 29, 28,000.”

This is a great piece of work and a fascinating watch. Thanks for your efforts. 👍👍
It’s so scary, flight 11 flew over my house.
The inaudible voice from the United 93 call is most likely another attendant or passenger telling her “You did great”

Historically accurate! Thank you, sir!
It was a sad moment for the United States of America, this why I went to war

Funny, that was why I spanked my monkey. Maybe you can go to Ukraine for another inane act defending people who have been infighting since the 12th century. The Arabs are incredibly honest people, if Osama had done this, guaranteed he would have said he did, if not just for the bragging rights alone. Don't be so quick to want to kill your brothers.

This is a masterpiece tbh
There is a mistake in this video: American Airlines flight 77 and United Airlines flight 93 were Boeing 757s and not Airbus aircrafts.
I imagine how frustrating it was to get the flight 77 striking the pentagon without hitting the ground or missing the building.
Cuz it was a missle

The phone call put me in tears 😢
Bro this is such a well thought out and effective video, jeez I'd be careful with this one, someone might get the wrong idea and do this in reali-

Interesting to see that Flight 93 Memorial is filled with trees in its area in MSFS 2020. When you look at Google Earth, there are trees around its area but not much of them in its area.
Yeah, I'm just glad it is even visible to begin with because it would have been almost impossible to identify exactly where the aircraft crashed.
At the memorial there’s a path that leads to the crash site where they put a giant rock to show where it crashed. I went there this summer
