4,500 seats? they should have bought the old Arco Arena, it held 17,000 and they would have saved a lot of money!!! I guess a lot of palms had to get greased!!!

You don’t know anything about live concerts do you? 😂 Seeing huge acts in a state of the art small theater is a dream come true for this region. If you want to see a concert in a huge arena like the Arco Arena, we have a better one already with its replacement, the Golden 1 Center.

@@goldenshark3182 I don't? BS, I worked concerts for years! I worked for Bill Graham, I worked Pink Floyd at the Oakland Coliseum too, I thought I was in trouble or something since they did not call my name, they let me pick anywhere I wanted to work unless I wanted to be paid. it was sold out all 3 night in a row, 87,000 seats! Sacramento does not have anything that big or even close! I worked the Grateful Dead too and they sold more tickets than we had seats for, they just paid the fines! I seen a number of bands 5 times over the years, some I would like to see again, I wanted to see Fleetwood Mac but Christine passed away. Most concerts I worked were at the old Cal Expo Amphitheater, I worked Sac. State one night, that seemed bigger than Cal Expo...

@@KurtElliott And yet you still don’t understand that this is an Indian Casino that footed the $100 million bill for its own venue. It’s not supposed to be the Coliseum or Candlestick or Levi Stadium, this is what concert goers want, seeing a huge act that normally fills arenas and stadiums inside a state of the art intimate theater that’s not crowded to the gills, it’s a dream come true! The fact that you mention Arco Arena which is in Natomas, and this Venue at Thunder Valley which is on tribal lands in Lincoln, almost 30 miles away, means you have no clue what you’re talking about.

@@goldenshark3182 So they could have saved a lot of money, I know I saved a lot of money by not pissing away $300 a ticket to see the Eagles, you actually think anyone went there to see the concert hall or the band?

@@KurtElliott Did you not watch the video? 😂 The whole weekend is sold out! You still don’t understand, to see huge acts like The Eagles or Bruno Mars who fill 80,000 seat stadiums, is a dream come true where you’re not sitting miles away in an upper deck stadium where you need binoculars to see the stage. Every seat is a great seat in this new Venue, that’s why it’s freaking awesome and way better than any Arena or Stadium. The ticket demand is off the charts for it, that’s Economics 101, it’s called supply and demand. The more demand there is the more expensive the ticket, LMAO. ✌🏻

When you consider the average theater venue capacity is roughly 2,000 over in Vegas on The Strip for all the Cirque du Soleil or the fact this venue actually seats more the grand The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Sacramento is moving up. I’m disappointed in the interior design, looks so IKEA basic though.

As long as it's comfortable and gives you enough leg room that's more important than making it look super fancy to me. Golden 1 center looks nice from the outside, but they cram you in like sardines.
