I really do hate asking anyone for anything, but me and my partner are in a bit of a jam, so if there's anything you could give to help us we'd greatly appreciate it: gofund.me/eac518c0
Hirofumi Matsuoka is believed to have done the arrangements and original songs for both of the Legend of Heroes Mega Drive ports. His Japanese Wikipedia page credits him for them, and the instrument data and compositional style for the original songs matches up with his confirmed tracks in Falcom's PC-98 releases. I dunno if you'll feel like updating the description to reflect that, but at least the people reading the comments will know, heheh.
Good enough for me to add
The OG is back with another soundtrack. Long live DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL!
Your channel is a must, real-hardware caliber. Thank you.
Drawing some Pixel Art and listening to this in the background. Good Soundtrack.
this soundtrack is deep and captivating, SOJ certainly had advantages in its exclusive titles when it came to Mega Drive audio, thanks for posting this compilation more!
banger ost
I didn't knew this game. Great ost. I just found out that there's a cd recording for the pc port
The title demo and ship themes are awesome, thanks for uploading this!
Oh man it sounds even better with the YM2612 IMO. I still love this game's soundtrack, I wish there was a English translation for this version of the game. I know it's on the Turbografix 16 too, but I'd rather play the Mega Drive version.
Welcome back, Dustin. Glad to see you again 😁

Reupload?
Yes, I probably should tag it as YM2612. I rerecorded it because I lost the original files. This one is also recorded on a different console
@@DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL what is the difference in sound between the MD models? am I right in thinking the first model is the one with the fuzzy sounding ladder effect ?
@@TheLegendofRenegade Yes, it sounds almost like it's bit-crushed and the effect is more pronounced the quieter the sound is. There's a little bug in the chip too that makes it sound a bit more coarse than it normally would also. Most yamaha chips of the time didn't have a DAC on them (usually a separate chip for that) and the 2612 had a cheap one built in. There is more to it than this, but then I'd be getting into how the chip works internally lol
@@DUSTINODELLOFFICIALwow, in that case I think I actually prefer the Model 1. I love that fuzzy effect in the sound.. it has a certain charm to it
