The height of the Unicorn/Banshee are interesting, because in Unicorn Mode they're about the height of the Zeta, but they get significantly taller when transformed into Destroy mode, though still a hair shorter than the Nu. All those little armor separations add up to about two meters.
I just built this, took 2 days, but I got it looking really nice, and the stickers are definitely not as bad as they seem. I applied every sticker, and they all fit pretty snug. Only a few folding-type stickers, mostly easy. Also, the instructions don't include how to build them, but this kit comes with a gray beam rifle, and all the parts to Banshee's shield, which looks great too.
I love the original Banshee design. But I am hella disappointed that they didn't do a proper RG for the original Banshee. I don't really care for Banshee norn, since it's the hands, that made the original so unique. I know you can get accessories for Norn and make it the OG Banshee, but honestly I could get 3 HG's worth of plastic for the price of those two hands. Now worth it imo.
Agree 100%. Really frustrating how Bandai threw the OG banshee under the bus in favor of the banshee norn (which imo is the far inferior design.) The armed armor pieces are also Premium bandai which means now they cost way way more than they should.
Is worth tho getting this hg banshe? Im thinking of getting all destroy modes unicorn (in will have full armor next week HG) and thinking on the others
@@fabiocorreia7532 personally, if youre a straight builder like i am mostly, i wouldnt go for hg banshee just based on the kinda dated look (especially the piss yellow psychoframe) and its tendency to be a bit of a hand grenade. if youre able to stomach non model kits i would actually say that the gundam universe banshee is a great looking figure thats pretty much perfectly in scale with the 1:144 unicorns. if you can paint or mod your kits though go for the hg 100%
@@fabiocorreia7532 So did you buy all the destroy mode? I’ve built the destroy mode for Unicorn, this Banshee, and Phenex. I’m planning to buy the Norn version in order to salvage the back part for this kit plus to add a second Shield in order to make it look more different than a recolored Unicorn. And regarding the other banshee kit, I’m think I’m going to bash it with the Green Psycho Frame Full Armor Unicorn and make the Navy Blue/White Panda color using armor from both kits. This way it’s different from the rest, and the head will be Banshee with some of the antennae cut off. Also, I absolutely hate building this kit, but I really love the design.
HG Norn has those translucent orange bits you want! It may not have the VN or the BS, but it's got waaaay more accessories! It's definitely worth a pickup if you see it
How easy do you think it would be to put the armed armors on the rg banshee? Im thinking of doing that so I dont have to buy the pbandai version, but I dont want to waste my money on this kit if I can't do it
I haven't watched yet, so just commenting based off the title, will edit if necessary. But I do not think it's that outdated, I haven't done any unicorn kits besides this and I was pleasantly surprised by the difference in build process compared to most other HG. IMO the dark blue could be a bit lighter, but it still has pretty great shelf presence, although that may be just because of the "v" fin (more like antler fin) and height make it stand out from the rest
for me after building hg unicorn full armor. just think back why i got the hg not rg unicorn FA. cause 1st i build rg banshee norn and impress with the articulation that it got and when build hg unicorn FA. reallyyyyy disappoint with the articulation and it feel like a really old kit 😂
This kit's a piece of shit. It's currently in the bin at the end of the driveway waiting its final destination. Never had so many pieces pop off, but the real shitter is the elbow joints self-separating after just moving them a little, making it utterly unposable. Trash kit being sent to the dump where it belongs. Never want build anything from this line ever again, what an awful first impression of the unicorn kits. Some mechs should not get the HG treatment, and this is definitely one of them.

The kit haves the piece for atacching the shield on the arm?
@@KathyaVazquez Yup. But you'd have to remove either the claw thing or the railgun.

I dislike how the norn looks tho, it's too cluttered
hopefully a HGUC Revive and beyond global version of the unicorn gundam will be brainstormed, conceptualized and be released or something
The HGs are still useful for parts and raw material for other builds.

Bandai put the movable claw in the unicorn mode so that it would sell better
I'm gonna be honest, id paint this guy matte black and metallic gold.
That is what i did even add a nit of bronze to my gold, its stunning

Why does no one comment McLain about the physco frame not being clear
Imagine a mega size of hg neo zeong narrative.

Banshee Norn HG next?
HG Unicorn revive when bandai
The ugly yellow is what keeps me from getting this
