I went there while I was touring the Philippines in 2016. It's a wonderful place. The film makes it look scary because they are exploring the underground river system that feeds it. You won't experience that if you go there, it's like a large deep swimming pool that is a nice tropical blue. Also no need to worry about sharks or crocodiles. As long as you know how to swim and not afraid of deep water, you will enjoy it a lot as I did.

The water is not dark, it is a tropical blue and you can see down quite a ways. The current is not very strong, it's like a giant swimming pool and the best part is no worries of sharks, crocodiles or other dangerous creature there. Im a Philipino...im came over and ober in the enchanted well it is pretty danger....the policy now from enchanted as we came last year there is no more to dive right there somebody just said us that there was an american died down there and his oxygen was almost empty and didnt make it only his friends.. I know that im too young too understand but duhh..i was scared to hear it from a stranger...and from what i've notice the enchanted river...was kina like an eye form i can actually see it...

He can dive for as long as 2 hours underwater for real 😑. But he is not a badjao, pero siguro sila yung mga taong tinatawag noong panahan na SINYALAN.
