Assalamu’alaikum I’ve been praying 4 sunnah before 4 Fardz for asr and isha my whole life and I think I’ve been reading it wrong now 🥲 I don’t say my duroud sharif on the second rakat or the dua (rabij al nee) I just say the Tashadu and then get up
The 4 Rakat of Asr and 4 of Isha are prayed in similar manner. You actually are reading like you would read 2 rakat - twice without Salam So It is Sunnah to read Durood and Dua after Durood in sitting position plus when you stand up you read thana again too. All Sunnah, so if you forgot it’d be ok
There’s 4 fardh after this as shown in the thumbnail and salah table In the beginning of the video there’s a short intro to the Salah rakat table showing what you pray for each salah The fardh is the compulsory part.
Each part is labelled and informs you whether is is Fardh Wajib or Sunnah These labels are explained earlier on in the video In answer to your question It’s a Sunnah to recite Durood e Ibrahim So besides getting less reward, your Salah will still be valid. In comparison, If you miss a Fardh your Salah will not be valid
These 4 are optional However, you get a palace in Paradise for reading the 4 Sunnah of Asr :) Considering we work 25+ years just to pay for a shoddy terraced house, 5 minutes to pray 4 Sunnah for a GIGANTIC PALACE with over 70,000 Rooms with things inside that no eye has ever seen or mind ever thought of, I would say that’s pretty much a Bargain! … and we get get that opportunity everyday! Walaikumus-Salaam, To read Durood and Dua after Durood in 2nd Rak'at is Sunnah. So although you've not read it, your salah is valid and counts. :)

4 Sunnah of Asr and Isha have thana in 3rd rakat - as they are read like 2 complete sets of 2 rakaat nafl without salaam in between.
In asar sunnat you read in 2nd rakat durrod shareef and in zuhar namez you dont read why?

If thana is only supposed to be recited in first rakat then why is it being recited in the third? At 6:44
