    I have been on a very long healing journey myself, TBI/POTS/MCAS. I did Irene Lyons nervous system work in 2019 and it was a game changer. I could barely get out of bed before nervous system work. The last 9 months I have been doing a low histamine/animal based diet which has really helped as well.
    Over the last few years I have opened my heart to Jesus and have reverted back to my Catholic roots. I would love to hear about how your faith has helped sustain you on your healing journey.

    Hearing you say you no longer consider yourself chronically ill made me break down crying. It’s insane how the internet can allow complete strangers to connect with each other in this way. I am still in pain and scared every day but knowing that you have gotten through it (mostly) gives me so much strength. Thank you for making me feel less alone. I am so beyond happy for you. Much love

    I fail we are on similar journeys. I’ve basically healed my illness but the thing I’m focusing on now is sort of tidying up the residual trauma and I guess cobwebs that are deep in the recesses of my body - mind. as you say it is hard work, but it is incredibly fulfilling and a very rewarding journey to be on. Thank you for sharing your story.

    So good to hear your update Rachael. Thank you! So inspiring to hear how many symptoms have subsided, and about the deeper emotional work. I would love to hear more about your journey with jaw/airway treatment. I am in a very similar situation and I know this is a crucial piece, but don't know which direction I want to take yet. Sending much love!

    This all so relatable. Coming out of chronic illness myself, I I’m also discovering that life after chronic illness is not something that has talked about very much. I found my life to be very very different, most of my relationships have changed a lot and honestly, I’m not very interested in Relationships I used to be very attached to, and even my relationship with myself has changed. Would love to hear some content from you on this if you ever feel so inclined

    Hey Rachael, thank you for your videos and sharing vulnerably. I was first given hope to heal my auto immune conditions through you sharing your story. I started Primal Trust because you introduced this to me. Thank you so much. I am on the roller coaster of healing atm and know that it is the best path forward for me. All the best to you, i enjoy hearing any updates from you.

    If you haven't looked into it, you may want to look up vocal cord dysfunction. I had to work my way through it and no longer experience it, however it caused airway limitations for me. I found simple exercises on RUclips which helped a lot.

    So sorry for your losses Rachel. My mother recently passed away from colon cancer and my grandmother and sister before her, so I empathize with your loss as well. It has been very difficult but certainly better since I found God. I really am inspired by your healing journey and am encouraged by seeing how much you have overcome. I have experienced some healing on Carnivore (of Lupus and Hashimoto's) but have been 'stuck' with certain other issues like pain and digestive problems that won't improve. I'm trying to do things like journaling, meditation, and gratitude practice to help and have noticed some improvement in my anxiety at least but not much with my other issues.
    Would you be willing to do a video of a typical day for you from arising until bed? I feel like I waste so much of my time researching what I can do or take to get better and it can be very disheartening sometimes. I know everyone is different but it might give myself and others pointers on things to help. Please consider this and thanks again so much for putting yourself out there to help others. You're a beautiful person inside and out!

    Hi Raechel! You are so inspiring. I'm healing from POTS, MECFS, traumatic brain injury, and long COVID. What is your relationship with your phone and social media? As I'm healing, I am spending more time at home than before my initial injury and I've found that I'm on my phone a lot more than I'd like to be. Do you have any advice for this?

    • @miezeken
      @miezeken Месяц назад +1

      Hi there I’ve pretty much recovered from long Covid and my two cents on the phone and social media are that overall, they’re best avoided entirely and replaced with a good book (if reading is an option) or podcast or audiobook. The reason is that they are highly stimulating and too much for the sick brain. Of course, if you can’t put it down entirely try limiting it to say half an hour. There’s a great app called screen Zen which can lock you out after a time limit, if you find yourself getting addicted.

    Hi, ive been watching a lot of your videos over the past few weeks and am so relieved that youre healing so well! Im having all the same symptoms you were having years ago before you got the prolotherapy, and my only question is how do they do payment??? I have 3 kids and several animals. My wife is the only one working because im basically bed ridden and cant do much without fear of fainting..we cannot make the trip to florida nor cover the cost of caring medicals price to get treated... its just soul crushing, i apologize to lay it out there like that but for me it seems ill be dealing with this condition for a while.

    Did you have blood pooling in your extremities and did you happen to get diagnosed with venous insufficiency? I'm currently struggling with this and all the doctors and info online says vein valves don't heal and that it's a chronic condition. It's affecting the blood flow to my brain and causing many symptoms that make living extremely difficult, as I know you're well aware of and have experienced. I'm so happy for you that you are feeling better these days and I hope you keep trending in a positive direction.

    Thanks for the update. It's very encouraging to see that recovery is possible. So glad you're truly living instead of surviving!! Do you mind telling me what job or jobs you were able to start doing? Other than the social media job. My daughter is in college, trying to finish, but also chronically ill. She's went to see Dr. Hauser so his treatment might be in her future. But she's wanting to try to work.... at something. But its difficult to find something for disabled bodies and minds. Thank!

    • @miezeken
      @miezeken Месяц назад

      Take it slow. As I recover, I found jobs that I can do for a little while and then have a rest are absolutely perfect. For me, that’s Uber driving right now. But you get the idea. the money is honestly pretty terrible, but getting a little bit of social time and being able to do a little bit of work has been really great for me and I can see why your daughter is keen. All the best.

    I did start DNRS when I was first diagnosed with CIRS but ended up still pursuing medical treatment. Either way DNRS has been an integral part to my healing. However I'm curious to see if it's possible to heal without medication. Have you tested to see if you have the CIRS gene? It would be wild if you could set the example that CIRS can be treated without medication. There are so many who don't have the money for treatment and looking for other options.

    • @Fresh-qc3zn
      @Fresh-qc3zn Месяц назад +1

      As if she's going to go and get tested for that gene after what she's said in this video. She doesn't class herself as ill anymore so I highly doubt she'd be wanting to investigate CIRS or confirm she has it for any reason. That's literally doing the opposite of what brain training would suggest you do.

    • @HealingWithRachael
      @HealingWithRachael  Месяц назад +5

      I’m so glad to hear you’ve been making progress, that’s amazing! Personally I haven’t gotten tested for CIRS but used to have all the symptoms. I’ve seen many people heal from it without any sort of treatment or protocols. I believe nervous system dysfunction is almost always the root of this immune response. The body knows what to do and can heal given the right conditions. ❤️
