Mario, you need to work on your technique, you sing too much with the head voice falsetto and this will result in you losing your voice in 10 or so years. For those who deny - I have heard him in concert at the Concours Montreal and his singing is all right, but he has no ring to his voice and everything sounds too falsetto-sung. Sorry Mario, this one is bad!
This is not a constructive criticism, it's just you being an asshole. You don't know what you're talking about and given the content you produce and the trend of the commentary it's clear that you're not happy with anything that's sweetly sung or has any dynamic other than loud. That's not all there is to singing or opera. Furthermore there is a difference between falsetto and mixed voice. It's incredibly difficult to sing mixed voice pianissimo in the upper end of one's register, let alone decrescendo from forte on a high C like Mario did at that Concourse competition in Montreal, which he won by the way. He was also a finalist in the competition this video is from. Mario is not perfect, there are some rough edges, but he has a beautiful voice and a lot of control for someone at his stage and a ton of natural ability that has crazy potential. Barring some catastrophe, he's got a very bright future, and all the interest in him I think makes that pretty evident. You on the other hand, have a shitty youtube channel where you just attack countless singers and make all kinds of wild, unorthodox claims about technique and repeated comparisons to a small handful of people you like. You also seem to be entirely blind to timbre or the fact that different people have different types voices. Get a life and stop being such a narrow minded dick.
