Regardless of their gender, being a 4 star general is an incredible achievement very few reach. The fact that they didn't take crap from their superiors makes it even better.

Not true.... Look at the uniform of the Army General. She has both a Bronze Star and Combat Action badge. Having lead an attack Battalion in Iraq she was in fact shot at. I could not see if her Bronze star had a "V" and yes I understand how Bronze stars have been inflated. However, give my sister her due respect, she volunteered, she signed that blank check to the American people and she served in combat.

I'm not from the US, but I volunteer in Chile at the same time as women were allowed to serve outside administrative roles as well. They have to comply with the same physical requirements as men, they train alongside men, barracks aren't separated because because volunteers are expected to be professional from day 1. I witnessed fellow servicewomen doing ruck marches with menstrual cramps, and also all the painful and annoying things they're subjected monthly. I'm proud as former military to have served with them, and proud as a citizen they still do to this day.

It must be rough being a general. How do they put up special meals cooked just for them? How do they put up with having an ade serving their meals, helping them dress, driving them around, running their errands. Making far more than the people actually doing the work. It time to recognize the what is special and not.

    • @thomasritz4863

As a retired "mustang" Colonel you have NO Clue! O-6 and above you have NO personal life. Having served as an aide for a General officer I can tell you they work 16-20 hour days many times 7 days a week. The time these Officers spent deployed, away from their families, working ungodly hours and keeping up with both their civilian and military educations is staggering. Yes, they do have special privileges, however, they were hard earned. Additionally, I am POSITIVE they had the support of great enlisted service members and NCOs... Nothing goes without NCOs... I am sure the NCOs who supported and mentored them are very proud.

Maybe it’s the lack of promotions outside the officer programs.
Maybe it’s the way our country doesn’t house veterans who developed PTSD and can not live normally.
Maybe it’s the bad food or a 3 year contract.
Maybe it’s the waste or the way we’re acting as unwanted global police…
But nah, it *must* be because that vice admiral who was promoted to admiral has girl parts. *that* is what’s ruining recruitment numbers.

Pretty important jobs to use as social justice experiment. I’d like to hear from their officers from the pay grade of 03-06, to see if they belong their. How about this off the wall requirement, do they know what their doing. I read a study that stated co-ed forward combat units were 70% as efficient as their all male counterparts. Which one of the 30% casualty or KIA list do you want your kid. This is a pretty scary and perhaps lethal use of the Diversity-Equity-Inclusion doctrine. I’m not interested on how tough it was to get to where they are I’m more concerned about whether they belong there. I’m proud of each and every one of them. Although, when Nora O’Donnell and her woke, lying, partisan network is involved, it gives me some room to pause. TRUMP 2024 🙏🇺🇸
WOKEISM, ESG, DEI and this preoccupation with transgenderism is a dodge to conceal the destruction of our Representative Republic, not a Jacobin, so called democracy.
