Warms my heart and puts a smile on my face when you called and the herd all Looked Up at YOU!! What a video to wake up to. Thanks Tyler..........you sure work your butt off!!
Tyler is a slacker, real cowboys have horses and herd their cattle. Tyler trains his cattle to follow him around, hardly fair to real trail hands… (humor y’all ..don’t hate)
@DB.Crypto we would mostly only use 4 wheelers and pickups. We wanted cattle to be scared of anyone on foot to be able to work them easier and as a defense against cattle rustlers. Plus it was so We could better judge mom's attention to us when ear tagging. A good mother will let u know tag and then that's it 😅
Tyler, You are not only so skilled at doing these complex repairs, you are a most excellent calm individual who doesn’t allow yourself to be rattled when things break down. You put your head down and charge right into the challenges you face, repair the damage and move on. In addition to this, you are a great husband, showing respect to Bree, you are a wonderful provider for your family, and a great father to your children, and a great farmer in caring for your livestock & pets . . . We, through your Grace and generosity, are being invited into your life through your channel to experience what humanity ought to look like. Thank you from the bottom of my heart . . . 🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
Good day Tyler wow I love following you around doing your stuff it’s very calming and fun love the cows!!! ! You are so interesting to listen to please keep these videos coming ❤
Dude, I love, love, love your channel. You are so educational and for sure entertaining. You have taught me a lot for something I have no use for, lol. Just meaning I'm a 63 year old woman that knows zero about farming but I've always wanted to own farm land and do some farming, only to keep the animals as pets. 😅 Thank you so much for all the education you provide on your channel and I will continue to keep on watching! 🥰🥰
"anytime of day is a good time of day as long as you look at it the right way" heck of a quote I feel, and a great way of thinking if you think of it lol. great video as always FTR can't wait for the next one!
My grandfather also leveled some river bottom ground so the water would flow both ways from the pipeline. A 6” Fresno Alfalfa valve is less than $100 plus fittings, so we ended up digging a line over and duplicating the valve system on the other side at each existing valve.
I seem to be able to relate to your videos more than any other. I love your videos and your shed, (work shop) it’s a ripper. Nev from Western Australia.
I love your pups! Always enjoy watching Calli and Bellie take off running when you're on the 4-wheeler or seeing them jump in the creek for a cool off! They're both such loyal dogs!❤ Love the baby pigs! They sure did go after their supper! Bet your smoked chicken was delicious. Hope you get the chick plucker going good so you can get those birds processed soon! Hope your week goes well!
Yep this is why dad had us always could farm with cattle there, but had to park the equipment in a different pasture overnight. They like hydraulic lines too
Great effort on that water separator cup. I believe I would have ordered a new water separator and replaced the entire thing. It sure seems like a common size that I use on my compressor when spraying paint.
Sometimes saving an easy task for the end of the day can help with feeling accomplished, especially when something doesn't go quite to plan. I also think starting off the day with an easy task can boost confidence and set the tone for the day. I guess it really depends on whether you are a morning person or not.
Kinda missing the polka dotted cap, but loving the embroidery on the new one. Too many good parts in this video but definitely intrigued by the chicken cut.
I had the air filter/water-oil separator bulb go bad on the industrial equipment I work with. Couldn't find the bulb but the larger unit was available. Before trashing the plasma cutter, putting something before the air gets into the unit will probably be good enough. Removing the old innards will probably be necessary to stop the leak if you go that route.
Your point about not intending the video to be about fixing the plasma cutter does not stand alone because you probably didn't think the video would be about fixing a sprinkler or a fly sprayer as well. But the best thing to note is that you have the ability to fix these things. Another most enjoyable video. Thank you
Hope the cats are back! We are having temperatures closer to your temperatures here in Upper New York State. Well almost, we’re in the high 90’s with heat index around 107°. I know there’s a big difference between 99° and 110° or 120°. But we aren’t used to these temps. One of the difference here is that we have 100% humidity and sometimes we get about 5 seconds of rain. I guess we’re not going to find out about the bottle calves 😞. I prefer mornings it’s peaceful and holds out hope. Thanks for sharing hope you have a great day.
There are many things I love about this channel, and one of the things is that you are so human, there are no - I'm a farmer, and I am better than you - sort of thing, you are just so normal. I love it when you laugh at yourself for not doing something, admit to your failures to do things, genuinely show that you love all that you are doing and show your love for your family and animals. Everything is natural, even the gritty bits. Very wholesome.
Looks like a good day on the FTR! I agree with your gradpa's AM/PM comment, the difference may be related to age....LOL I can definitely agree with your grandpa! Good post!
Wow what a great ride along with you today takes me away from all the nonsense in this world. Love the piggies they are so cute 🥰 and that was one fine-looking chicken I know that you raised and looked awesome when it got done!! 🤗
The wire damage on the fly sprayer interested me. Recently a friend of mine had a portion of the wiring harness of one of his vehicles chewed up by a groundhog……caught in the act! When he took the vehicle to get repaired, the the likely reason the groundhog found such an attraction for his wiring harness was that some of the insulation/ plastic conduit is made in part with a soybean compound. Apparently this was not the repair shops first rodeo with this type of damage. Granted cattle do weird things sometimes, but they may have had an underlying motivation this time.
My buffalo always ate the horse and flatbed trailer wiring off. Vet told me he needed some sort of minerals or something. Has been many years I have forgotten exactly. Now I place all wiring in a plant bucket and out of site. And water never stays in it.😊
Came to write the same. Auto manufacturers have been dealing with the wiring problem for years. Even in 2014 the number of employee vehicles that had to be carried off for repair in a single year because of rabbit and squirrel damage was incredible. In the year before I retired there were 38-vehicles towed out for wire repairs.
Gotta love j b weld several years back we always drained the water out of our Farmall super a we had we both forgot it then it froze my son called asking when I drained the water out I hadn't went out water and flash lights and the block had froze. We asked a neighbor if he could nickel weld he said he could what did we need he said to try j b weld and it worked. I learned a lesson quit being cheap use antifreeze.
We had a scrap yard owner that wouldn't spend a penny to save a dollar. He would never put the money into anti-freeze. We had a '100 year' snowstorm and it cost him a small fortune to replace all of the engines in his fleet of Mack trucks!
Tyler, check Baker gas and see if this part number is your piece. 428246 It could just be that the part number changed. It looks exactly like what you held up in the video. Though I don't know much of nothing about air compressors! But my uncle used to work for Grainger and I know their part numbers changed from time to time.
Tyler, you calling the cattle up really warmed my heart as it brought back some very special memories. I have to say, I'm so proud of you each & every time I watch you. You are sticking with the more older ways of farming. To me, the real ways of farming. Most farmers/ranchers today couldn't farm the way you do. Money has spoiled farmers today. It's to easy to go buy new & bigger & better. Instead of fixing what they have, go buy new/bigger/better. Just keep doing the way you do. You & you're ways are awesome!! You & your family are always in my prayer's. Take care, be safe & God bless ❤❤❤❤

Never just a farmer. More like a jack of all trades. Great video.

Tape and zip-ties can fix just about anything. I get a smile on my face when Farmer Tyler makes some creative narration.

Lovely videos....your a wonderful guy. Thanks for sharing your farm life with us. When we don't live on a farm you bring it to us to enjoy.
I love it! Giving Ranching Sodak a shoutout. You two are my favorite RUclips channels
It made my day to hang out on the ranch today Tyler, thank you.
Your ending was well said Farmer Tyler... I know you loved your grandfather. Peace be with you and yours!
Really loved when you called the cattle at the summer pasture. They looked up like well mannered children, hi dad, we are on our way!!
"anytime of day is a good time of day as long as you look at it the right way" heck of a quote I feel, and a great way of thinking if you think of it lol. great video as always FTR can't wait for the next one!
Thanks so much for all you do. Thanks for a glimpse into your work and life
I’d keep the cow who is pink eye resistance should be a keeper for sure. You want a that resistance in your herd
Your cattle love you! 😊 you’re a good man!
I find your videos educational.
Love doing spatchcock chicken on the grill. Good job, yum!

You're quite the inventor. Necessity is the mother of invention, so they say. 😊
You're very skilled, enjoy all your videos. 🎉😊
Hello Mr Tyler ...... Thank you for sharing your days with us ...... I Bless you, Family n Work. ☘
You are a wise young man- love your outlook
Love waking up to your videos…you provide good inspiration for the day ahead!!
Great effort on that water separator cup. I believe I would have ordered a new water separator and replaced the entire thing. It sure seems like a common size that I use on my compressor when spraying paint.
A great video. Even the stops you came against, you just kept going. Hope you are able to find your part.
Good morning I hope you are having a good day. Oh good looking pigs. Nice. Thanks.
love the new welding cap

Job well done Tyler 😊
❤🙌🏻 loved it! See u next time
Kinda missing the polka dotted cap, but loving the embroidery on the new one. Too many good parts in this video but definitely intrigued by the chicken cut.
pigs look amazing
Wow, obedient bulls and heifers...now where's the food? Luv the way the bovine want to use the sprayer.

Great to hear more references about Grandpa. He was surely an inspiration for you. Do you have pictures of you two working together?
Hope the cats are back!

Isn't it amazing that you were able to keep the farm going while working for a living off the farm as well? Always so many things to get done.

Amen
Great job Tyler
Awesome video 😂😂🎉
Cows break water facets or sprayer they rub on them it is always something.😊❤❤❤❤❤❤ That is why you check on your cows😊
I applaud you for fixing everything around the ranch. I’d be a terrible farmer….I hate fixing things. You are a real Mr. Fixit!

Love your helper fixing the fly sprayer , Buddy is the best!
Nice video, Tyler. 🐂😊
Thank you
WoW. Big chickens. They're beauties. Buddy first through the gate 😂😂❤❤ Great video 👍👍💯💯
Good job
Those drains get old and get hard and brittle. Check at a air compressor parts dealer. Just looks like a normal air regulator.
Love all your videos Tyler !!! And your Cattle is soo !!!! Gorgeous 😍 I love them all so much , ❤️ 💜 💖
Thx
Very good video !! Yes makes me feel good at the end of day to know my accomplishments of my day !! 👍🏼👊🏻
Great vid FT, busy day for you. Great job!❤❤❤
Thanks!
Thank you!
A master craftsman/repairman. You do it all!
Tyler, check Baker gas and see if this part number is your piece. 428246 It could just be that the part number changed. It looks exactly like what you held up in the video. Tyler go to your local ag suppler and ask for an air regulator
Maybe you should use an external dryer and straight pipe the internal dryer or bypass it on the plasma cutter. Just a suggestion
The cows told the calf to chew the sprayer 😅 cow shenanigans!
Expect the unexpected! No two days ever seem to be the same for you. Another great day on FTR.
Tyler if the JB does not hold. Angel hair Fiberglass with JB weld will give it more strength. Or fiberglass epoxy instead of JB weld .
Hello Tyler, please add the hyperlink to your Swag Sales to the long list of great companies in the header of your videos. Thank you for another excellent, honest film today! Evelyn in Minnesota
You seem like a jack of all trades...how did you learn all that....
We used to call our cows with, “SOO-boss”! 😊😊😊😊😊
love sundown
Hi Tyler again I was in town when your video came on well I had to come right away your the best
Sorry I messed up on my text I had to come home right away to watch your channel ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tyler,
I’m in East Tennessee and we’ve had droughts the past two years and I was wondering what the cost would be to install an irrigation system? I’m more interested in the steer pasture system as I don’t think it would be cost efficient for what you have on the main farm.
Respectfully,
James
Well……. You really are a Jack of all trades aren’t ya 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃excellent episode, hope you enjoyed your dinner, well deserved 😊😊😊x
Do you still have your old cattle handling unit? It would be very useful for you at the steer pasture.
Thanks love the videos
I suspect there was water that got in that part from the air line that froze cracking it...
It's just a air filter. You can put one on the outside and bypass it inside the unit.
Yes you have good supervision today Tyler lol
Hey Tyler :)
If you buy a replacement bulb for that separator or regulator whatever it may be buy two
Could you please show how you made your chicken plucket
LOL, zip ties and tape... the new bubblegum and bailing wire. 😂
You called and they looked up 😂😅
If that regulator bowl fails again. you will probably find any regulator of about that size will swap out the whole unit, they are pretty universal.
Tyler I'm sorry i havent gotten any notices of your videos. Please forgive me. ❤❤
I guess in the hunt for new welder.
Clearly they love you!
Will they eat dead grass?
My wife says try to find the air separator part from a medical supplier.
