I think you missed the point here...spamming them with originally non-effective types of weapons. But spamming it so much that your game starts to lag and B17 bombers are suddenly destroying Maus :P Also *massive* artillery. Oh and I loved spamming the shit out of Ar234 Blitz :D Or if you want pure Memery just go Calliope or Wurfrahmen spam :D
Back in the bad old days as a console pauper, this was one of the few titles that made it bearable, it worked pretty well with the controller. Looking forward to this campaign, Vulcan.
Its a shame that they dont sell this game anymore. It was absolutely fun to send tons of paratroopers behind enemy lines while my teammates held back the front line.
Low poly colditz model. Looks pretty damn close to the real thing, and is in the centre of the town as it should be. Always surprised me the best place for a photo of the place is the Aldi carpark in the centre of town.
I re-played through this right before SD44 released; such an awesome game! The campaign kinda drags on near the end, but the nuclear Long Toms are pretty damn fun to play with!
There will be more Steel Division 2 on the channel from the 29th! Until then, enjoy the start of this RUSE campaign.

Probably my most played RTS ever. Though I sure played a ton of the Age of Empires series combined, RUSE was a singular level of skirmishing fun.

Would be interesting to see a newer take on such a game. The concept might even work well for mobile (dare I say it).

The multiplayer was always great fun, this was a game I used to play with my friends a lot.

Despite being a console player at first, I'd say thanks to RUSE being on console helped me get into RTS games. That and CoH on PC back in the day
RUSE definitely did a great job of this, introducing strategy to console.

Why am I so excited for this series
I love this game. Played the campaign at least 3 times. 151 hours on the game. Last played 2011
I think I had about 28 hours before playing for this campaign so you got in way more than me.

I loved this game back in the date ... para rush meta in multiplayer kinda turned it off in the end
It was really fun online but I think eventually the best strategies were found and the game became stale.
