They are so popular, and scooped up so fast! I do prefer the neutral colors most of the time, but the packer of this order was a mind reader! (And I promise it came from the fulfillment center and was in no way hand picked for me!)
I love pops of color but I like them inside my bag. So the one I’ve been eyeing for months that I haven’t pulled the trigger on is a medium crossbody zipper in cold brew. I love slouchy bags especially for crossbody so they just kind of mush to your body and don’t stick out so much. It looks more causal which I appreciate. I have a mini wallet from them so I could get a taste of their leather and would LOVE to have a bag that is perfection and will last a lifetime. Love your reviews girl😊

I love all your mystery bags and littles! What a great haul. The colors are fantastic. I noticed that the avocado bag did not have the Portland Leather logo imprinted on the front pocket. Wonder why? I would love, love, love to have a Lola in Cognac! Portland leather is my happy place!!!
I love watching your unboxings! You give such great detail! I would love to try a mini crossbody. I have two mediums and would love a smaller one also. Been contemplating a mins or circle also. I currently have honey and boysenberry. Been eyeing cold brew and grizzly ohhh and Nutmeg. But also eucalyptus . Or sunflower. Gosh how to choose? Lol
While the Mystery boxes look fun, I don't know if I could every purchase one. The main reason is because of the small leather goods. First, the wallets-- do they have RFID blocking? I checked the website and it doesn't specify. I emailed customer service and they haven't responded. Without RFID blocked, you are completely defenseless against scammers. They can easily hack your credit cards. NO ONE should carry a wallet without RFID blocking. My next concern is the makeup and toiletry bags. They are unlined, which means that if something spills, the bag is ruined. You can't clean it. Reputable leather companies line their makeup and toiletry bags with a water-resistant liner so that, if something spills, you can easily clean it up. For example, Saddleback Leather lines their bags in pigskin, For me, if Portland Leather Goods doesn't address these issues, I will not be buying anything from them.
There are some of the same things you mention in this comment that I addressed in the other comment, so I won’t repeat all of my response. In short, I don’t care personally if a wallet has RFID or not. If PLG lined their pouches, I wouldn’t buy them for sure. I much prefer a fully leather product over any kind of liner.
