Sammy Hagar is sounding much better since leaving Van Halen, it's like his early solo albums & even as good as when he was in Montrose, he just did'nt fit in with Van Halen's style of music, some singers are irreplaceable like Steve Perry from Journey for example, Dave Lee Roth was more of a showman which was what made Van Halen so good
Silly Critics.... When it comes to playing bass, sometimes simple is sweeter. I'm sure those of you criticizing Michael's work on this song, all have albums out there with much more intricate parts than these, right?
@meeressen agreed! Mike had a chance to really show something tastful yet played something a plain & predictable as you'll get. If the rumours or myth are true it seems back in 81 durning the making of the Fair Warning album EVH not only did his guitar parts but even some bass parts. As for this song, boring!!!
I like Mike,,, He has a vibe that others don't.. This CD is Awesome.
It's awesome to see Mikey and Chad set the beat for this song when Sammy and Joe fill in the gaps great bunch of guys👏👍
Great music , can't wait to get this CD. Thanks for sharing !!
so true with the lyrics
ROCK FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great stuff - thanks
@notfarc1
That's cause Sammy Hagar is one of the writers.
2:23, Satch Attack!
I think the bass guitar on this could have been a little more effective to bring the song out more. Michael....show your stuff buddy!

van halen's last good album was with sammy
Balance was=with Fair Warning. Vh's best
