Constant switching would work. It would negate the attack build ups and clear the confusion, which is the main strategy here. Even with hail chip damage, it wouldn't be enough, especially since he has Lapras. If red didn't have lapras, then spheal would have to pp stall for 96 turns (1/16 damage for 6 pokemon)
None of Reds team was even remotely as geometrically sound as Spheal. Her spherical design gave her optimal aerodynamics and thus the rng to pull this off. Red never stood a chance.

Considering the player didn't move and that Red wasn't shown hopping on a pokemon and flying away, I think that he went ahead and jumped off the cliff.
Being beaten by a lvl 1 pokemon,while you had lvls higher,close to 100,the idea of jumping off to make people think you died is way better than not hiding knowing you got completely destroyed by a blue,round lvl one pokemon.

If I were the former Pokemon champ with the highest leveled team in pretty much all of two countries, and my entire team got wiped by a level 1 Spheal, I think I’d say “…….. ………” as well

An effective way would be to first TAS it to get multiple outputs and then play it yourself. Or keep grinding till you make it using emulator and speedups
I would like to see this as well. I'm not sure if a code exists for that yet, but it should be possible. I think there might be a code that increases the amount of experience gained that might be able to be modified to provide zero experience.

참고로 실전에서도 통할까 싶으면 당연히 안통함. 교체플하면서 하품 PP다 빠지면 그대로 리타이어. 옹골참 코일, 짓맘 소미안등 다른 유명한 포켓몬들도 특성을 무시하는 틀깨기 몰드류 같은 포켓몬 한마디라도 있으면 리타이어 및 현재 레이팅은 몰라도 이전에는 댁에 필수적으로 따라큐 때문에 채용했음
I wonder if toxic might be more consistent than swagger. Yeah its not as much defence as swagger, but it may kill faster/more consistently (everything but venusaur, tho you do still have hail). If you toxic on specifically the second turn they should die on turn 6 (if you hit) tho turn 3 might be better depending on the exact rounding. Course, there's negative synergy with yawn! You might need double team!
Nope. It's not faster nor more consistent. If spheal use toxic, spheal's move will be double team/toxic/substitute/protect. Double team is not a reliable move unless I can use it 5~6 times. Confusion and sleep can exist at the same time, and that's why I chose swagger/yawn

This may be a luck based strat, but hilariously spheal might be the only one that can do it, mainly because of hail and of its ability.
Snover can do a similar strat aswell. Sub, leach seed, mud slap and protect. With the power of pure bs and luck, you are unstoppable.

... or just consider a thought experiment. This is possible, a lot of things in pokemon are, its just matter of exactly how to make it happen.
Just use a simulator with the battle ruleset to calculate how many tries it will take on average to work.
