Loving your nice walkaround/talkaround videos, Fancy. Also with your professional background the knowledge you have about materials and electronics is an angle seldom seen/ heard. *Thumbs up*
Thanks for the facts. I personally like the manual Showa suspension for a more "streetable" ride. Ohlins is great for the track but imo to stiff for the street. Thanks for the vid.
I’ll also compliment you on your description regarding technology and electronics. You’re using technical terms that prove you have some kind of background in mechanical engineering and such.
I agree, appreciate a bit of tech commentary - we all learn something and enhances our appreciation of the bike. I think the V2 wears those side fairings a little better than last year's V4. The frame blends perfectly with the side panels. Btw upgrading those wings to carbon is in the order of AUD$1000. Stiff alright!
The V4 - really like the wider fairing, it must provide better wind protection. Gills are cool, hope they actually alleviate some of the scorching heat that hits the rider in the current bike. V2 changes seem for the better as well.
dogrange I’m sure it’s great from an aeromechanics pov. It just looks gauntly weird from anywhere but closeup. Curious to see what the new superleggera will be sporting.
@ Fancy Animal- what’s your take on the new mapping for the 2020 model V4s?? Apparently the torque curve have been kept at bay for the first 3 lower gears. What are your thoughts on that? Great vid btw
I just bought this bike. I traded in my 17 Daytona 675R and 17 R3 to get this beast. I call him Fireball, if any of you get to ride this machine be prepared to be burned. I feel like the new side fairings created the ability to funnel super heated air up into the back side of the riders legs so that entire area gets hella burned on the fly where as the 18 and 19 would only burn you at a stop. This beast breaths hot fire on you ALL the time. Its ok tho cause its like riding on the demons back, so fast, oh so good. Its an absolute delight.
But im serious about the heat issue. I had to buy some burn cream to apply after rides. Im also having some custom heat absorbing pads sewn into my riding jeans and lastly i bought some race car driver Nomex heat jumpers. Like work out tights. That should do the trick.
Do the stiff wings mean I can ride 180 mph down the highway and not wheelie? I really want to hit the Prius changing lanes up ahead with both wheels firmly on the ground.
lastfanstanding999 Yes I was ONLY wearing my helmet. Actually i recorded it with an iPhone and earbuds...does a decent job of filtering out the background noise.
2:07 guy on the left wearing ugg boots? Lol. The grip controls look the same as on my SuperSport
Braden Pryor I wonder if you can get under the shifter in those. Fast and cozy.
@@FancyAnimal that's what it's all about.
Best intro hahahaha!!! The look on that blokes face is priceless!

Looking to upgrade to the v2 from the 848 evo. 😎

Definitely an engineer speaking on the updates. Appreciate the in depth review rather than standard journalist regurgitated spew
Nice Video Walkaround In V2, I`m Planning To Get One Very Soon! Tnx!
Great comparison video 🇮🇹👌
Nice video but still a step down from V4, I love my V4s. Glad i stuck with ducati. Upgraded from my 1098s

Your unique voice is like a cross between James Woods, melded with Bill Burr, haha, awesomeness.

Oh im in Phoenix AZ where its 108 degrees in the shade.
Have you considered wearing a man-kini when you ride? 😂
The question is: should you update the older V2? Would you?

Never realized how wide the winglets are.. not a fan tbh kinda looks squidish.. I’d almost remove them if possible..
nice video
Do you overall like the v2?
Hey hey Kyle!
...and you better be wearing your helmet inside there! :] ]

I didn’t see the new 916 anniversario
Honda CBR -1000RR-R-SP2 on the way
Ah, the BLIPPAH!
Nice vid. NYC show sucked, Ducati wasn’t even there
Boonedog SV yeah they had the bikes at Ducati nyc. Too many manufacturers missing this year... i skipped it.
