A couple questions for you Kyle, does the bike do good in slow riding and not fowl the spark plug? Is the powerband manageable? And what mixture are you running?
I have around 20 or so hours on mine, mostly woods. Ran the bike rich and gradually leaned it out and everything it running fine. With it being a 125 you do have to use that clutch quite a bit and get in that high RPM range. The powerband is perfect. Definitely has enough power. Also running 40:1 now.
You have the 125xc? What’s a good bike to move up from after a four stroke trail bike? I really want a 2 stroke but I need a bike I can do some little hill climbs and other trails with out fouling the plug. Last 2 stroke I had to be on the pipe a lot.
Was it worth it to get the 125xc? I want to move up to a 2 stroke because I have always loved them but only owned one. I just want to do slower riding and not have to be on the pipe all the time. But being on the pipe is fun.
Hey Kyle, can you talk about the new YZ125 and YZ250? I know they aren't releasing the X models until next year but can you still share your opinions and maybe your hopes for 2023?
11:20 OMG yes! finally somebody mentions this! My TE250 is basically bulletproof (dozens of guards and a extremely reliable engine) I mean you could throw this bike off a cliff and then ride back up the cliff no problem, but one tiny little bolt comes lose and all of a sudden I am worrying about tightening the kickstand bolt every time I leave the truck. I'm thinking about welding the dang thing in there.

@@dallinwilde6379 Yeah, I have the same bike as in the video. My step dad has a Husqvarma TX300i and that thing has serious bottom end power.
Was it worth it to get the 125xc? I want to move up to a 2 stroke because I have always loved them but only owned one. I just want to do slower riding and not have to be on the pipe all the time. But being on the pipe is fun.
@@dallinwilde6379 I will say for hill climbs and mud holes and those sorts of things you gotta be on it
I love how much throttle you can give a 125. Makes my 300 seems lame. Sure the 300 is the bees knees but you can rarely use 100% of it.
Better to ride a “slow” bike fast then a fast bike slowly. Definitely not saying these 125s are slow
Its easy to tune as long you upgrade the seals in the carb otherwise its a paperweight.
make a video talking about the KTM 200 XCW please
Beware of the guy who turns up on a 125!
Thats just steet smart
Correct! He's probably going to spank you!
Hey Kyle, can you talk about the new YZ125 and YZ250? I know they aren't releasing the X models until next year but can you still share your opinions and maybe your hopes for 2023?
Maybe when the have a hydraulic clutch and e start more people would be interested
My neutral is the same on my exc300 2022. Engine running & stationary it rarely finds neutral
Kyle, I saw a Honda 450RX today . Might be a cool review.

Yeah dirt bikes rarely have carburetor, carburetor is not seen on daily basis
