What was Q30 for core 1? Is core 2 missing Q and A? Thank you again for this video, very helpful.😊
Is it for those enrolling in cyber security?
@@abdulkareemmusaolayinka5122That is a different test and he has that on his channel, also.
Thanks man, passed my test. I had a lot of RAID, cloud computing and virtualization questions. Plenty of printer questions too, good luck everyone !!
Nice work! Congratulations 🎊
Congratulations I will have my exam in 2 months
Congrats. Do you still remember some of the questions? I found out about the Flashcard App (Windows and Android) from Josh Madakor and started to create decks with questions and answer. Even just the questions will do. Thanks
Hi wru from
Thank you for this insight. I take the test tonight 🤢
Finally a practice test video that's actually close the actual test and not super easy
If this wasn't super easy I'm gonna nail this test, because I got basically all of them right.
Do you have an email in which I can ask you questions. I’m going through the test this weekend
@koolaidsolutions
Today i passed my exam of core 1 and i found many questions from these videos. Thanks a lot sir for ur help.
Ty for the inspiration!!
I have exam next month 😮
I take my exam this Saturday. What other resources did you use?

hello the two comptia a+ exams, are they questions with only multiple choices as an answer? Thanks you
Subscribed. Thanks so much, Dean.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the amount of resources available to help me study and the time and effort it must have taken to compile such an excellent video. Thank you so much. ❤️🙏
I appreciate it your comment. Thanks you ❤️
Thank you!!! I just started studying about 2 weeks ago and it was nice to see exam question examples to figure out what the test may look like.....I did not do the greatest on this practice test but I did (way) better then I thought I would and that alone gives me the confidence to continue to study and press on....THANK YOU!!
i got 1 wrong out of all of them, feeling real confident!
I took the Core 1 test two days ago and passed. It was really hard, at the end of the exam I thought I might fail even though I had 5 years of experience as a computer technician while it was 10 years ago. The exam, 75 questions, started with three PBQs (RAID, Laser Printer Maintenance, WiFi router setting with security). I should have skipped the PBQs to save time. However other questions, about 10~20, same as PBQs but as multiple choice.
I felt some questions not clear wordings describing the situation, one question I read five times but still I don't understand what the question is, I just guessed by the multiple choices. Some questions asking the best answer can be controversial and if this is a real situation then I need to ask the customer for more information, preference, and etc. To prepare for the next 1102 exam, I need to know not just the definition and the meaning, but also how to use it and when to use it. Therefore, I think DeanCyber's videos will be helpful for those who prepare for the exams.
I also did it the other day. It was very hard! Most questions i had never come across before anywhere. And some i had zero idea about even though i had studied for 6 months for the exam. But i still passed.
What is the answer for RAID question? Please. I did not pass yet
Answer for first four questions please?
I got my A+ and Network+ way back in the 1990s when you took the test once and were certfied forever. Been doing IT for years now and even I got a few of these wrong. Wish there were these resources when I was getting my certs.
correction on question 28 cause i got confused with it
questions says which printer uses heat to apply ink on the paper, for some reason the answer was thermal printer but thermal printers use heat to change the color of the thermal paper to black and not actually use any ink.
to be fair i thought the answer was the dot matrix printer because that one heats up the print head and pushes it to the ribbon which has ink on its surface. the ink then touches the paper and sticks to it with the heat from the print head.
thats why the print head is so big, it has a heatsink to be able to dissipate all that heat and not damage the printer
Yeah, I noticed this too. Thermal printers don't use ink. Laser printers also use heat to fuse the toner to the paper.
You are wrong. Fuser inside the laser printer applies hear and pressure to stick the toner to the paper. And before that comes the charging process.
Thermal printers basically only use heat to do everything.
@@huzaifabilal9039 yes, but the reason its giving people problems is that the word ink is used in the question, which thermal printers use none
Thank you for this content! Very helpful!
Thanks mate
I appreciate your videos very much They get straight to the point with a clear explanation, Short, sweet and simple had to subscribed !
Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the video - great help!
Dean, thanks for all you do. Especially the performance based questions. These questions are amazing as well but the PBQ’s I feel this is the most important part of the exam especially for people like me trying to do this on their own with no experience or money to get a lot of equipment and do things. Thank you for everything. I hope to take the test sometime soon, especially w/ your help. You’re awesome!
Thanks a lot and good luck
I really appreciate the practice questions and your explanations are great!
Thanks for putting these together.
Thanks man I am to take my test soon and on the second time around watching this video on separate weeks I got all of them right. You and professor messer are a huge help!

I'm going to take the test next month. Do you have a job already lined up
Congratulations btw
@@ricksamuel5260 so did u pass?
How many did you see on the exam?
Hello, thank you for providing a practice test for the updated exams. This is very similar to some practice tests I've done in the past. I just wanted to let you know you skipped question 30, I am not sure if anyone has pointed this out already!
Sorry, I apologise for that.
Thanks
Thank you for this information 🎉
My pleasure 😊
im taking mine in april i will come back to let you guys know how i did .
I got 3 wrong, and i never even studied for this test. LOL I dont have money currently to pay for Comptia A+ but i thought i'd prepare myself for when i do. I know getting only 3 wrong is good, but if i can get 0 wrong that would be even better. lol
Q16. How are you supposed to differentiate between if the answer was Print Head or Drum? Both parts are responsible for putting ink on paper, no?
Thank you so much! After watching your videos I feel I am ready to test. I take it tomorrow so wish me luck!
How did it go?
Im taking my 1101 test tomorrow, so I'm using this video to review. Very good video!! Thank you.
did it help
isn't question 25 post code beeps if someone could help i really appreciate it
its 100% post code beeps bro dw
awesome
Thank you so very much for this. My final exam for my class requires me to take the practice core 1&2. This is super helpful.
Best of luck!
Question 40 was a bit confusing. How can one determine if its overheating if he has no parameter to judge? Sure you can check the BIOS for temperature, but if you do not know the max tolerable temp for your CPU that causes the shutdown, simply checking temperature wouldn't make a difference.
professer messer ♥
Great video! Can you please do cable questions that will be on the test? That would be great!
I have no knowledge of what will be on the test, but I will make a simulation with cables that you need to know for the exam. 🙂
@@DeanCyber thank you very much that would be helpful. I appreciate your content
I had a ton of printer questions
Is the number of pins each type of ram has really on the test? No one else has covered that.
Thanks DeanCyber! Does someone perhaps have a link of some other free labsims/videos to review/study?
I hope the real exam has questions this easy.
Not really, if you buy my udemy course for core 2 the questions there are more difficult and a bit closer to the ones on the exam
@7:59 where is the NFC feature on the phone? I don’t have that in my settings
It may not be in your settings. It's more of just a feature. The "tap to pay" when you use apple pay. is an example of this.
@@alannabors yeah I know it has the feature but the way this question was worded it made it seemed like it was some setting you can toggle.
13.5 mhz short band frequency I guess is where the answer lays….
What you get after passing this exam? I'm gonna do it soon

I’m looking to getting my certification before the year ends considering it’s about 6 months remaining in 2023 I want to accomplish this goal. My question is how long do I have to study for and how many questions on the test? I really want to jumpstart my IT career. Someone help I’d highly appreciate it
There are 2 exams. One exam for Core 1 and another for core 2. There are no more than 90 questions in exam, simulations included. Usually, there are around 70 questions and around 5 simulations for an exam. You will have 90 min to finish the test.
I have a Udemy course for core 1 and 2 with mock exam questions if you want you can check them out. The links are in the description. 6 month is plenty of time, there is no way to tell you how long it will take you, because for each individual is different, depends on many things.
I studied udemy questions and answers. Then I found this channel. With you explaining. I'll most definitely pass my comptia A plus core one now. Thanks again
You are welcome and good luck
Did you pass?
@@sunshine-if6jlfacts I’m tryna see whats going on I taken my test this Friday 😭
@sunshine did you pass?
Wish me luck tomorrow y’all. I did the Dion training course on Udemy, Messer Videos and I knew 38/40 questions on this review first time watching.
I think I’m about as good as I’m going to get.
isn't question 25 post code beeps I'm really confused
I have a problem, I can't seem to pass dions 1101 exams. My highest score so far on 1st attempts is 72% when I redo them my scores go up to 98% with my scheduled 1101 exam 1 week away do I still go for it or push it back to a later date?
Hello chief, did you pass the exam with dions tutorial and how close was the tutorial to the questions that dion made ? i am curious cause i am currently studying his materials
What if I can only afford your udemy course. Would I have the advantage of PBQs?
Yes, if you purchase the Udemy course with the Simulations you will have access to the PBQ, which are available for Gold members only.
@@DeanCyber am left with about 11days to exams then I found your materials. Do you recommend?
Hi, Q22.why is it B over A?
checking hard drive space takes only a few seconds whereas all the other options could take a bit to find. Remember he's asking "first step"
How do these questions compare to the actual test questions? I have my test on Thursday and there was only like 2-3 I got wrong on here
The questions from the exam are worded differently, making them sound more complicated than they actually are. But if you understand the material you should be okay. Good luck with your exam, and let me know how it went 👍👍🤞🤞🤞
How is the exam?
How did it go?
hows the test?
How many questions on the real test
If I got 90 percent of these right and also 90 percent right on all professor messers practice exams do you think I am ready for the real exam? Thanks.
I would say absolutley
You're ready. Let us know if you passed?
@@XXT0rr3s Will do. I am doing some last minute memorization of port numbers and then im going to book my exam.

How did it go?
Would you say these are easier than the exam? I got about 8 wrong :(💔
Mostly hardware stuff tbh, I am flopping on hardware I need to revise
Is this core one or two?
Core 1
@@DeanCyber Thanks, Dean. Do you have more q&a in video format? I bought you course on UDEMY😊
Thanks, check my last video. I will upload soon more q and a for core 2 aswell
Is A+ worth it or its a total waste
Well considering core 1 and 2 are fundamentals of everything it is very worth it because it will show employers that you know the basics and are willing to go up from there
If you completely Skip A+ and get Net+ / Sec+ you can still get employment with that but it depends on the type of employment you’re going for.
I knew a guy that went straight to net+ but he was one of these guys that would build his own wild n crazy network setups (that helped him leverage employment without work experience for his networking job).
I honestly don’t see A+ as a waste of time because it’s hard to start at a higher level without some kind of work experience.
Without that I think alA+ could help better for entry level because you get a better variety of knowledge for an entry level position. After that you pick and choose which direction you want to go based on what certifications are required for said position. A+ has some basic networking stuff in it and I think that would help tremendously before going into Net+.
I am taking the exam in 8 hours wish me luck
Good luck, let us know how it went
How did you do?
@@downbad.8411 I passed with a 699 i was only really worried about how the questions were worded and I can say it was worded way easier then I thought it was gonna be
How was it? I’m taking mine in about 2 weeks. Really nervous
@@ashweta21 was easier then I thought it would be still on the core 2 right now
are they really going to ask me pins on ram? wtf
Most likely not, and if they do, it won’t be an integral piece of the exam. IMO memorizing specs like RAM pin numbers is more of a luxury than an essential
wait is this test actually this easy?
I did pretty poorly on this and I have my exam tomorrow, wish me luck. probably going to fail.
